Her entire world was black and white, nothing stood out to her, her eyes didn’t have a sparkle. When she was little, she never received any attention that others take advantage of. No one ever assured her that she was beautiful, no one promised her she was worth it, and no one told her she was perfect the way she was. The word love was something her mind had vague details of. She didn’t know what it felt like to be hugged, to be cherished. As her teen years approached her, she began to break down under peer pressure. She didn’t know it was okay to be smarter than someone else, she didn’t understand that some people are just pure mean in this world. And every night she would close her eyes and hold her breath, the pinch of the metal first puncturing her skin making her heart skip a beat. One less drop inside of me, she thought that all the time. The only sensation she felt in her body was pain. She didn’t know it then, nor does she now, but she’s just a beautiful masterpiece. Someone will prove it to her, it might be a tad dangerous, but he’s determined.

Just in case you were curious, I still find myself coming back and reading what you wrote about In the Heat of Los Angeles when I hit a rough patch of writers block. Finally getting through that story was emotional and tough. But I did it and now that I'm through the tough beginning of the sequel I'm feeling relieved. But I wanted to let you know that it still means a lot to me that you said such nice things about ITHOLA and I use it as motivation.
