Dear Life
Rating: R
Author: fireworks.
Summary: It all becomes hard when your support leaves you. It all becomes hard when you lose the only person you ever loved. It becomes fucking hard when you try to spend your life without them. But it's even harder to replace them, to have someone else cherish the place in your life that they had.And it's fucking hard to tell the story of your love; of how a person became your life.
A story of lost love, retelling the tales that should be left forgotten and falling even deeper than anyone thought could be possible. Can someone really stay the same after the one you changed your whole life for left you?
This is not a typical love story. It's way far from that. Becasue he didn't fall in the typical love that people do. What he fell in was much deeper, much scarier. It was like a quicksand, pulling you in deeper and deeper the more you try to get out.
"Let me tell you one thing: She didn't die. My girl, my life, she isn't dead. She's still here, right beside me, smiling, laughing, crying as I cry, looking after me when I can't. I never used the word 'was' for her. Because I know that she's still here. And God knows that I didn't let her die."

Just in case you were curious, I still find myself coming back and reading what you wrote about In the Heat of Los Angeles when I hit a rough patch of writers block. Finally getting through that story was emotional and tough. But I did it and now that I'm through the tough beginning of the sequel I'm feeling relieved. But I wanted to let you know that it still means a lot to me that you said such nice things about ITHOLA and I use it as motivation.
