Rebound
Chapter 6
Niall's POV:
"Yeah I'll be there in 10." Her angelic voice ringed through my ears as she agreed to spend time with me. I cleaned up my flat as quickly as I could before she got here, and I was just plain excited. Ever since that first time we met, I knew she was something special. No shit, we know everything about each other, and we have had a lot of special moments, but nothing more. And no we haven't slept together, but I am just not ready yet. Like for one she is still depressed about her brother, and I know that she is kind of still broken up about Cameron cheating on her. Not only that I have my own drama, with my ex going on. I want us to be more than friends, but only when we are both ready.
I heard a knock at the door and took of my shirt off, because I know that drives her crazy. I opened the door to find her wearing one of my shirts with spandex and the pug slippers that I got her for Christmas. I hugged her and picked her up, my heart raced after putting her down. She brought snacks like chips, gummies, and a bunch of other stuff. We both jumped on my couch and I played the first movie. *2 hours later* "Ok well I'm going to go and pee" Leilani said as she got up from the comfortable dent we made in the couch. I laughed at her and shouted "Don't take too long, or I'm playing the next movie with out you!!!" Then I saw her race to the bathroom which made me laugh even more.
As I was putting in the next movie, and there was a knock at the door. I answered and saw Hallie, my ex, I went outside and said "You can't be here, leave now" She went inside and Leilani was shouting "Hey Nialler, I think we should do your makeup. Wouldn't that be hilarious!!" "Oh so you have another whore here after what happened between us?" Hallie said, then walked around my living room shouting random girls names. Leilani came out with a huge smile on her face, then she saw Hallie and said "Oh Niall, I didn't know some-" And like that Hallie slapped Leilani, that was it Leilani explode on Hallie. She first punched her back and kick her, but Hallie came back a little harder. This continued, I saw blood dripping from Leilani's head, and from Hallie's nose.
I pulled out my phone and called a friend, "Hey dude, Hallie came back, and she is currently fighting a girl that I invited over. Can you help me?" He said, yeah and he'll be here in 10. The reason I called him is that Hallie cheated on me with this guy, and she fancies him more than me. I tried to break the two up, but I kept ending up getting hit square in the face. The door opened and Hallie stop, but Leilani threw one more good punch to knock her down. She turned around and said "You?"
Leilani' s POV:
After beating that Hallie girl to shit, she stops and looks at something behind me, I know it wasn't Niall. So I took the situation to my advantage and throw one more punch to knock her out. I turned around and I saw Cameron, I first blink twice and then say "You?" I was going to attack him but Niall stopped me, "You two know each other?" I looked at him and soften my stare, dusted myself off and said in the calmest tone possible, "This is my shitty ex-boyfriend, Cameron Dallas." I crossed my arms, then he said "Leilani can we talk?" I laughed and said "What the fuck? No, you're crazy, I bet anything this is one of the girls you cheated on me with, isn't it?" He nodded yes, "Wow, yeah let me answer your question again, Get your damn chick and the fuck out." I said heartbroken and went to the restroom to clean up the blood.
Niall came into the restroom, and leaned against the tub and said "I had no idea that was the Cameron you were talking about, I'm so sorry." I turned around and hugged him, "It's ok, I didn't even know that you knew him." I was about to go back put a Band-Aid on my cut, he got my hand twirled me around and kissed me. I felt fireworks, no I felt a big nuclear explosions, I haven't felt this in a while. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his torso, and we made out for a few seconds until he stopped it. "What's wrong? Did I bite you?"
I asked getting worried, he put me down and said "No, of course not. It's just I feel that we are not ready for relationships, and I know that your going through some things and I'm going through things. I just feel, we are going to hurt each other in the end." I understood what he said, but I felt embarrassed, I picked up my things and ran out of his house. I ran a few blocks down and decided to meet an old friend. I got up to their door step, and knocked, they open the door and looked at me with shock. "Leilani?" they said, "Do you have time to talk?" and before they were able to answer I crashed my lips into theirs, they took no time to kiss me back and close the door. Big mistake Leilani.
