The Contract

Dani's P.O.V.

I sat in our room alone. Alone. What has my life become? This is some middle-aged man's sick and twisted fantasy. And who has Luke become? He just knew it wasn't his? He just thought it was okay to kill the child I was making? All for what? Him? The fame? It makes me sick.
Suddenly my phone vibrated.
"Hello?"
"Danielle."
"What do you want?"

Michael's P.O.V.

My heart raced as the plane took off for Puerto Rico.
"You okay?" Rae asked.
"Just nerves." I smiled, kissing her hand softly.
"We don't have to do this phase thing, Michael." Her expression turned sad.
"We do."
"No, we don't. If you truly still love Crystal and want to be with her, please, please, don't choose me."
My heart broke.
"Raegan Marie Williams you are the love of my life. I loved Crystal, truly and deeply, but that's over. She will always have a piece of my heart, but you have all the rest of me. Every piece. And I love you so much for acknowledging my feelings. I couldn't do this if you didn't."
She just smiled, with tears in her eyes, squeezing my hand tighter.
"I love you too."

Luke's P.O.V.

I sat and listened to Danielle's playlist, as I do when I want to remember, and since Rob laid off on the shots... Everything came flooding back. The night in Vegas at Circus Circus. The Skype call right after she got home. Her parents wedding. Lookout Mountain. Telling her we were roofied and life was a sham. Disney. The proposal, so things went right. Our first fight. The make up sex. Thanksgiving. The guitar she gave me on Christmas. The tabloids. The night in the studio where I belted Castaway to her for the first time. Australia, and meeting my parents. The wedding. Then my mind goes black.

Dani's P.O.V.

I hung up my phone. And let it slide out of my hand. He's right. I am stronger than all of this. I can use all of this to my advantage. This was to break me. This was to make me stronger... To make Luke and 5SOS better.
There was a knock at the door.
"Luke?"
"Where are you? And I'm so sorry. I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight. I need somebody and always. This sick strange darkness comes creeping on so haunting every time. And as I stared I counted, the webs from all the spiders catching things and eating their insides. Like indecision to call you and hear your voice of treason. Will you come home and stop the pain tonight. Stop this pain tonight. Don't waste your time on me. You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you). Don't waste your time on me.You're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you)." He sang in his angelic voice, but much more mature than the unplugged version.
I slowly opened the door.
"Can I come in?" He asked, giving me his piercing blue puupy eyes.
"Please." I begged.
As he came in I jumped into his arms.
"Dani. I can't stop thinking about everything we have been through. I can't ever say I'm sorry enough. You don't deserve any of this, and if you want out, I'll get you out."
"Luke Robert Hemmings. How dare you." I scowled, but he looked confused. "I told you when we first got married in Vegas, out of tradition, you and everything that comes with you, is what I want. I know you may not remem--"
"I do. I remember everything. That's why I'm so sorry."
"Don't be. We have one hell of a love story, and it's not over yet." I smiled, and so did he.
Luke cupped my face in his hands, pulling me into a kiss. I jumped into him and wrapped my legs around his waist. He slammed me against the wall and kissed me harder.
"Don't ever leave me." He breathed.
"Never." I replied, kissing him again.
Before I knew it my clothes were ripped off and Luke stood over my in just his skinny jeans.
"Like what you see?" He teased.
"Really, Hemmings?" I smirked.
He leaned over me biting his lip ring.
"Mmm." I moaned, biting my lip. "Kiss me."
"Just kiss?" He smiled, I could feel his breath on my lips.
"More."
"Anything for you Princess." he smiled kissing my neck down.
Luke quickly thrust into me. I let out a moan.
He continued his motion and kissing me.
"Do you want a baby?" he asked.
It caught me off guard, do I?
"Luke!" I cried as he pushed harder.
"Do you?"
I shook my head, unsure of what I want.
We hit our climaxes together and collapsed on the bed breathing heavily.
"I missed you." He spoke.
"I missed you." I chuckled, then kissed him softly. "Shower?" I smiled.
"Please." He smiled, following me into the bathroom.

Luke's P.O.V.

As Dani got herself ready, I ran to the store. I picked up flowers to give her the tickets in.
When I was leaving I saw Elijah out of the corner of my eye. He was with Arzaylea. A memory hit me like a train. They were engaged. Have they been engaged? What's going on?
"Luke?" I heard Arzaylea call.
"Hi." I blushed.
"Thank you."
"For?"
"For being there for me and my baby. Is Dani okay?"
"She's... better. We're going on a trip."
"Phase two." she smiled, lightly.
I nodded, "You know him?" I slightly gestured to Elijah who hadn't taken his eyes off of her.
"The meds wore off and I started to remember him. I guess we have been seeing each other even in this sick reality... And even in-between Gustav."
"Ah." I commented.
She nodded, "I should go, I just wanted to thank you."
"Anytime." I smiled, kissing her cheek.

"Dani!" I called from the bottom of the stairs.
"Luke!" She yelled, then laughed. "What's this?" she smiled at the flowers.
"Look." I smiled back nervously.
"Oooh. A love note. 'I fell in love with a girl who fainted in my arms. I married her at first sight. Through the ups and the downs, I fell more and more in love. There's nothing I would love more than to take her to the city of love, to show her just how much she means to me.' Are you serious?" she beamed.
"Dead serious. I'm sick of playing Rob's sick game, this is for us. Even if it does kind of lead into what he wants. I want to get away. Everything is packed and ready to go.. If you want." I chuckled.
"Yes! Oh my god! Yes!" she jumped, hugging me tightly.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Luke." she kissed me and my heart raced.
I can only hope she says yes to the rest.
