Styles Triplets

"So basically you just had a date with Harry Styles. I totally ship it." Ari laughed while shifting her phone to the other ear. She was sketching out her half of the art project while listening to Kat recount her little 'date' earlier that afternoon.

"Shut up, Ari! You know that wasn't a date nor did I have a choice. He basically kidnapped me." Kat whined on the other end.

Ari shook her head and smirked. "You know you loved it. Besides, it sounds to me, that you two had a connection. Embrace it just be like all the other easy girls he's been with."

"I hate when you go all wise on me. Can't you just let me hate him?" Even though Ari couldn't see her, she knew Kat was pouting.

"Nope," Ari answered. She got moved from behind her desk and went to sit on her bed. "At least your triplet isn't freaking bi-polar. Think he's gonna show?"

"I don't know, Ari, but I doubt it." Ari nodded before glancing at the clock.

"It's been a nice talk, but I have to sleep if I'm going to be able to handle another day of school and tryouts." Ari said with a yawn. They said their goodnights before hanging up.

Ari stood on the soccer field in front of the hopefuls. She looked them over, and though she didn't want to be, felt disappointed by Edward's absence. I really thought he'd show even if it was just to show off. Ari thought.

Coach Philips stood beside her with his arms crossed. "Today is the last day to show off your talents in order to be a part of the teams. For those whose decided to show up on the last day, you better be freaking amazing 'cause you're already at a disadvantage."

Even though Ari felt like she should be listening, she was still searching for Edward. "... Now Ari would you like to say a few words."

Ari sighed before putting on a fake grin. "Because I've been in you all's position, I know exactly how you feel. It's ok to be nervous, but don't let those nerves keep you from killing it out here "Ari paused when she saw Edward Styles slide in at the bottom of the bleachers turning fake smile genuine. "Just leave it all out on the field, and do your best. You got this."

They clapped for her, and she stepped back and allowed Freddie, the boy's captain, to give his spill. After that Coach barked orders, and the final day of tryouts commenced.

Everything was going smoothly until yelling was heard. Ari turned to see Edward and Scott, your typical boneheaded jock type guy, going at it. She sprinted to the scene just in time to see Edward's fist connect to Scott's nose. A sickening crunch sound was heard, and Scott was on the ground clutching his nose.

"Fred, get Scott, and take him to the nurse. I'll handle Edward." Ari said before grabbing Edward's arm and dragging him to the side.

"What the heck is wrong with you?" She whisper yelled at him.

"Me, what about him?" Edward retorted just as angry.

"You can't just punch somebody when they piss you off Edward. You need to calm down." Ari told him while pinching her nose. It was habit for when she needed to cool down.

"Whatever." Edward turned around and shook his head.

"Edward, I know you didn't start this. Scott has always had a big mouth. I'll put in a good word for you. Just go and get your hand cleaned up and take a breath." Ari sighed.

Edward nodded before walking away. Ari glanced at the field and saw everyone looking in her direction. Coach P. gave the 'we will talk about this later' look before getting the group's attention back. Ari slumped down into the bleachers ready for tryouts to end and the drama to leave with it.
