"Harry! Are you here?" I asked as I walked into my house, placing my keys on the kitchen counter.

I was back from my new job as a waitress at a coffee shop. The pay was okay and I needed the money because I wanted to stop depending on my parents but I hated that job. I still had my job babysitting Julie but not all week anymore.

"Over here." He said waving at me. He was laying on the couch with his laptop in front of him.

"Hi." I said kissing his head quick.

"How was your day?"

"Great." I said sarcastically. "There was this stupid blonde bitch and her stupid friends annoying the shit out of me." I said from the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water and taking a sip. "And I broke a few cups so my boss is not happy with me."

Wearing my waitress uniform wasn't fun so I walked upstairs to get changed into my pyjamas, my usual short and a batman shirt. I also took off my contact lenses, removed my makeup, and pulled my hair up in a bun, getting ready to do nothing for the rest of the day. When I went back to the living room I heard Harry talking and laughing in front of his laptop.

"Who are you talking to?" I asked, sitting next to him.

"To myself." I laughed.

"You are so weird, Harry."

"Come here." He said pulling me close to him and kissing my cheek. I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder. "Are you tired, babe?"

"Yeah kinda." I said, my eyes closed.

"Isn't she cute?" Harry said. "Who is she? She is Jane. She's a very sweet girl."

"Seriously who are you talking to? Any of the boys?" I laughed and looked at his laptop. It was a video, I looked closely at it and then covered my face as soon as I realised it was a twitcam. "Harry!"

"Say hi, love."

"Harry!" I scolded him.

"Come on, say hi."

"Hello everyone." I waved embarrassed, hiding my face a bit.

I couldn't believe Harry did that! Fans were going to eat me alive I was sure and I was a bit scared and worried. I read some of the tweets about me, some were very nice saying I was pretty and things like that, some wondering who the hell I was and asking if we were a couple, and some of them, most of them were very rude comments. They were calling me ugly, fat, whore, saying I didn't deserve Harry and telling me to stay away from him and to fuck off. It really pissed me off and made me feel down.

"Okay I'm leaving." I said standing up.

"What? No! Stay here please." He said holding my hand and sitting me back next to him.

"I don't want to. Neither do they." I said softly.

"What do you mean?" He asked looking at the tweets people were sending and saw all the hate towards me. "Oh guys come on stop saying that about Jane. She is a really sweet person and she doesn't deserve that, no one deserves hate so just stop."

'Omg but look at her. She is so ugly.' One said.

"Ok I know I'm not pretty but stop. You have nothing to worry about me and Harry, we are just friends." I said. "Why are you in his house? Is that because you're a-" I read a bit shocked. "Well actually he is in my house and that's because we are neighbours so no, I'm not."

"Yeah and she always has food." Harry laughed.

"You have to stop stealing my food, Harry." I said looking up at him. He smiled and kissed my cheek."Yeah do that so fans hate me more." I said pushing him away. "But seriously guys, we are just friends." Harry rolled his eyes.

"Yeah she turned me down."

Tweets saying 'Are you serious? You turned Harry Styles down?', 'You are so stupid!', or 'Harry you like this ugly shit?' kept coming. I groaned.

"First you are telling me to stay away from him and then you're calling me stupid for turning him down? WHICH I didn't!" I said looking at Harry and hitting his arm. He just laughed at this. "Moron." I muttered.

Later I ignored fans and they ignored me, so the hate was minimum. They kept asking Harry questions and Harry gave them updates while I cuddled with Cat, scratching her chin and making her purr like crazy. I was mad with Harry because he knew I didn't wanted to be part of his famous little world with fans, paparazzi and no privacy, but now there was nothing I could do so I didn't let that bother me.

Later I fell asleep on Harry's shoulder with Cat curled into a ball laying next to me when I heard my cellphone ringing. I groaned and answered it without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Hi sweetie." I froze when I recognised the voice.

"Hi mom." I said getting up from the couch and walking towards the kitchen, wanting to keep this conversation private.

"Where are you? I haven't seen you in two days. None of your friends know where you are."

"You were back two days ago? And you just realised I wasn't there?" She sighed.

"Just tell me where are you."

"In London." I said coldly.

"What? What on earth are you doing in London?" She yelled.

"Remember grandma's house? Well I'm here you know, getting it cleaned and all."

"Oh my god Jane are you out of your mind? Get back home right now!"

"No way! It's summer and it's really nice here. And you are never home, you are always busy so it doesn't matter if I'm there or not!" I said loudly, getting mad. Mom sighed.

"Just get home, sweetheart."

"No. I'm okay here so you don't have to worry."

After talking for some time with my parents they agreed to let me stay here for the summer, but just for the summer. I was glad and very happy because I was making a lot of friends, Harry and Danny were considered my best friends.

The next few weeks went by fairly quickly. I loved to spend time with the boys when they weren't busy working on songs at the studio or in interviews, even though I sometimes went over to the studio, as well as Danielle, to see the boys practice. Danny and I had gotten really close as friends, I once had a thought that maybe we could be more than friends but disregarded after a few seconds, I couldn't risk losing that special friendship we had.

Today was a nice sunny day and I decided to spend it just walking around. First I went to Tesco to buy some food and cleaning supplies leaving them at home immediately, and then I just walked around, thinking about maybe going to the park.

"Jane?" I heard a familiar voice.

"Louis, hi!" I smiled and hugged him. "What are you doing here?"

"I was on my way to Starbucks to get a coffee. Would you like to join me?"

"Sure. I'm in the mood for coffee."

Louis and I walked into Starbucks, it was a couple blokes away from us and we were talking and laughing the whole way there, this guy was hilarious and really fun to be with. Somehow Louis wasn't recognised on our way there and we managed to order peacefully a coffee.

"Hello welcome to Starbucks. What can I get for you today?"

"Hi. I'll have a White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino, no whipted cream, please."

"Sure. What's your name?" The Starbucks worker smiled.

"Jane."

"I'm John." He said and grinned. "You're really pretty." He smiled.

"Thanks."

"Can I get your number?" He scratched his head. "And I don't know, maybe we can-"

"Do you mind? I'm here with her." Louis said annoyed.

"Sorry. What can I get for you?"

"Java Chip Frappuccino."

"Alright. Name?"

"Louis."

"That' will be £7.75." I started pulling up my money when Louis stopped me and paid himself my coffee.

"Louis!"

"What? I 'm not letting you pay, love." He smiled and kissed my cheek.

After we got our drinks we walked out of Starbucks, his hand was around my waist as we walked, pulling me closer to him. Yeah I loved spending time with this boy, he was a great friend. I missed him a lot, we haven't talked in weeks so it was time to catch up.

Louis and I walked and talked about anything and everything during our walk, sometimes we walked in silence, not and awkward silence but a comfortable one. He told me about his family, where he grew up, friends he had left behind, and his life before One Direction. I told him a bit about my friends, school, my plans, and my family, I couldn't tell him much about my family though, I was an only child and well, my parents and I weren't close.

When we arrived at his apartment there were no paparazzi around thank god. We made our way up and knocked at the door, waiting for anyone of the guys to open.

"Hey! You are not the pizza guy." Zayn said frowning.

"Oh sorry." He smiled and hugged me hello before he let me into the room.I walked into the living room with Zayn and Louis behind me. Niall was playing Xbox with Harry and Liam was just sitting on the couch concentrated on his cellphone.

"Jane!" Niall said excited when he looked up at me and ran over to me. "It's so nice to see you." He said giving me a bear hug and even lifting me from the floor.

"Hi Niall." I hugged him back laughing.

"Jane!" Harry and Liam yelled and ran over me to hug me as well.

"Oh god I feel so loved." I laughed.

"Alright get off, get off of my girl." Louis said taking them off of me and bringing me closer to him.

"Your girl?" Harry asked, clearly not amused and sent Louis a death glare.

"That's right, mate. MY girl." He said pretending to kiss me.

"Louis stop." I laughed and tried to push him away. Harry just looked at us.

"Harry come off it, it was only a joke." I said messing with his curls.

The boys and I had a lazy day. We talked about many things, we laughed like crazy, and played some Fifa. I was really good at it and we had lots of fun making bets and yelling at each other for what seemed like hours. The last round was me against Louis.

"I'm so going to beat you." Louis said.

"Yeah right." I said not looking away from the game.We played for about 30 minutes while he boys stuffed their faces in food and talked.

"NO!" I yelled making everyone look at us.

"I WON! I'M THE MASTER OF FIFA!" Louis yelled.

"Fucking damn it!" I yelled slamming the controller down to the floor.

"I'm the best."

"No you're not! You cheated!"

"What?" He laughed. "I did not. You can't cheat on Fifa, you silly girl."

"Shut up." I pouted.

"Jane it's only a game." Harry laughed.

"Yeah." Louis said. "Now admit I'm way better than you."

"Oh bugger off."

After my whole Fifa drama we simply talked for a while, they were asking me questions about anything they could think of. This time I was wearing some Louis' pajama pants and shirt to be more comfortable.

"What's your favourite song from us?" Louis asked.

"Mm... probably Moments or More Than This." I answered. "Niall's voice is the loveliest in More Than This."

"Aww." Everyone said together, making me and Niall blush.

"So he is your favourite?" Harry asked with a pout.

"I don't know, maybe." I blushed. Niall sat next to me and held me in his arms, making me blush like crazy as everyone laughed at me.

We spent the rest of the night watching movies, first Toy Story 3, Liam's request and then some horror stories, Paranormal Activity and The Ring, great.

I sat between Harry and Louis on the couch, cuddling up into Harry's side, Niall was next to Louis, Zayn was on the floor and Liam was on the other couch.

During Toy Story I cried, in the part were everyone is about to die and hold their hands, and Harry pulled me closer to him and kissed my head. And during the horror movies I kept burying my head on Harry's or Louis' shoulder, or watching it only between my fingers and yelling at the girl at the movie what to do.We all went to sleep at around 3 in the morning. Louis had three extra rooms for the boys, Harry and I shared a room, and the boys kept teasing us like mad, Niall shared room with Zayn and Liam stayed in another room.
