Brooke's POV:
Zayn just kept knocking on the door trying to get Karlee to open it. He has been going at it for about 3 minutes now. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore so I yelled “ZAYN. STOP. SHE ISN’T GOING TO OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!” He just turned around and sighed and then walked over and slid down against the wall with his head in his hands.
I walked over into the kitchen and grabbed the key off of the counter and then walked back down to the spare room that Karlee was now staying in. I unlocked the door and quickly stepped inside and relocked it before Zayn could get in. He started to bang on the door again telling me to let him in. I just let out an evil laugh knowing I wasn’t gonna let him in.
I turned around and scanned the room Looking for any sign of her. Unfortunately I didn’t see her…. Then I noticed that the bathroom door was also closed so I walked over and tried to open it without success. She had looked it also. Then I said “come on Karlee open up the door. It’s me. Zayn isn’t in here I didn’t let him come in. No reply……… I unlocked the door only to find her lying on the bathroom floor with a bloody knife in her left hand 5 huge cuts on her right arm!
I ran out of the bathroom and started crying as I unlocked the door to le Zayn in. He had an angry expression on his face, but when he saw that I was crying his expression softened. He asked where she was and all I could manage to do was point towards the bathroom.- He walked over and into the bathroom and then I heard him collapse on the floor and whisper “why.” He tried to get her to wake up, but was unsuccessful. Then he came over to me and told me to give him my phone so without hesitation I handed it over and he immediately dialed 911……
When he finished the phone call he came over and hugged me to try and calm me down, and said that everything would be okay. I really tried to believe him, but I had the feeling that the opposite was going to happen…
