Chapter 1: The Big Move
Chapter 1: The Big Move (Taylor’s P.O.V.)
I looked around my bedroom thinking it felt empty. I knew that there was still plenty of things still nestled around the room, but my dresser was empty. Its contents was neatly folded inside the large suitcase lying open on my bed. I couldn’t believe what was happening?
I plopped down on the edge of my bed, still trying to take everything in. I sighed as I laid back on the bed.
“Hey Tay!” Ann’s voice carried through the open door. “Are you ready yet? They’ll be here soon.”
I yelled back, “I guess.”
The soft tapping of sneakers slowly grew closer before a familiar head was still inside of my doorframe. “What’s the matter?”
I shook my head, “I don’t know.”
My bed shifted under the new weight on it. Ann was gazing down at me with a look somewhere between sadness and concern.
I sighed again, “I guess I’m just nervous. This is a big move.”
She nodded, “You got that right. Don’t worry you’re not the only one nervous.” Another sigh escaped my lips as she continued, “You’re just being motherly again.” She chuckled, standing from my bed and heading back toward her room.
“Oh hush,” I grinned as I sat back up on my bed. “Go finish getting ready.”
A smirk cross her face as she responded with a little curtsy, “Yes, mom.”
I launched a pillow out the door at her, but she was already out of sight. I chuckled to myself; she was probably right. I was just being overprotective of her in my mind again. I really couldn’t blame myself though, after what happened with Carson. Carson is a local dealer of human pleasure. After a reckless deal Ann made with him, she became one of his girls. I volunteered to help her pay off the debt she had caused from the deal. I did some things that I am not proud of, but that was something that I could put behind me not. Thanks to the greatest guys in the world, we were free from that life for good. And now we were getting ready to start the next chapter in our lives.
“Louis just said they will be here soon!” Ann’s voice drifted through the apartment.
I shouted back, “Okay!” Looking over my room once more, I wanted to make sure that I hadn’t forgotten anything. It wasn’t like I could just jump in the car and drive back to grab anything I had forgotten. I was going to be an ocean away.
Shaking my head, I finally zipped my last suitcase closed. I can’t believe I was doing this.
As if on cue, a knock sounded at our front door. I turned and headed for the living room. Ann was leaping over boxes and bags shouting, “I got it!” to reach the door. I grinned as I watched her leaping around like a mad woman.
When she opened the door, I saw the two boys that we had been waiting for all morning. Smiles across their faces as they walked in. Louis wrapped his arms around Ann and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. Harry headed over toward me, maneuvering through the maze of boxes. His foot snagged on the handle of a bag and he went tumbling forward right as he reached me.
Louis and Ann broke out in laughter as I just chuckled. I knelt down, “Are you seeing stars?”
He looked back at me, rubbing his forehead, “I don’t think so, but I do know one thing.”
“What?”
“You make me fall head over heels.” A cheesy grin was on his face as I shook my head. A smile across my face as I leaned in and kissed his cheek.
“You are too much.”
Louis’s voice broke our little moment, “Are we all ready to go?”
Ann and I looked around the room one last time before our eyes met and we nodded our heads, “Yeah.”

The wait is finally over! Here is the first chapter of Bare, the sequel to Stripped. The updates will be slow at first, but as I can write further, I will move to weekly updates.
