Shay's POV
I was sitting in my room trying to write a new song. I laid down on my bed and sighed in frustration. Well Im Shay Youngblood, yes the Shay Youngblood, but Im not the girl the tabloids say. I dont have a perfect family. Its far from perfect. My parents dont love or care for me. Yes Im their perfect daughter but lately Im getting real sick of that. "Shay I hope your thinking about your charity event!" My mother called out to me from the hall. "Yeah." I grumbled back. Next week was my charity event for cancer. Yes I was excited. I hated cancer, if it had a face I would punch it. My mind wondered what big stars were coming to my charity event. "Mom whos going to be coming?" I asked her as she came into my room. "Oh well the biggest stars coming are some boyband One Direction." She said handing me my clothes. One Direction, Ive heard some of their songs and they were great. I was actually looking forward to meeting them cause they were my age and seemed nice. "Get back to song writing." My mother commanded me as she left my room. "Yes mama Sargent stupid." I muttered under my breath as she left.

After an hour of writing and fixing and strumming I finally had Change Your Life done. Then there was a knock on my door. "Come in!" I yelled and the door opened. Who walked in surprised me. "Harry Styles?" I asked just confused. "Uh yeah, didnt know if you knew who I was." He said nervously. "Well yeah I like your guys music." I said nervous now, "So whats up?" I asked trying to change subject. "Well since I was going to your charity benefit I just wanted to hang out with you before." I was confused by his answer, "Why do you want to hang out with me cause of my charity benefit?" I asked. "Okay maybe I just wanted to meet you and hang out." He said shyly. I laughed slightly. "Why didnt you say that in the first place! Id love to hang out with you." I said and he looked up and smiled.

He came and sat down next to me. "So whatcha workin on?" He asked taking my notebook. "Oh just a new song." I said nervous as he looked over the lyrics. "I like the lyrics will you sing it for me?" I nodded and started strumming. After I was done Harry clapped. I laughed, "Thanks Harry." I said putting down my guitar. "You're really talented." He said looking straight into my eyes. "You are too." I said as I felt our faces get closer. Our lips barely met when, "SHAY?!"
