Niall and I spent a great portion of the night on the beach. We just talked for the most part, I told him about the past five years of my life and he told me all about his as well. He told me about a girl he was dating who spiraled out of control and overdosed on drugs.

"WOW I'm so sorry Niall. That must have been horrible for you." I say

"YEAH it was difficult but her and I weren't together at the time, I am still close with her parents though." He tells me

I think I think to myself why does he still keep in touch with her parents if they weren't together when she died, but I push that thought aside. He's a wonderful man and was probably really close to her family. After sitting on the beach for well over three hours we decide to head back to the hotel.

"When is Liam supposed to be back?" Niall asks

"According to the front desk he is supposed to be back tomorrow night, but we'll see if that happens I guess" I say sadly.

Niall picks up on my tone and stops, he grabs my wrist and pulls me close to him. He doesn't say anything he just stares. I can feel the hot tears well up as I fight to keep them from spilling over but much to my despair it doesn't work. Embarrassed yet again I drop my head as I feel the silent shutter run through my body.

"Bailey what is it?" He asks quietly

I don't say anything I just stand there as the tears run down my face. Niall grabs my shoulders and spins me to face him again. I look up at his face which is hard to see through the tears. He pulls me to him and embraces me into a tight hug.

"Niall.." my voice cracks

He hugs me tighter "Yeah"

"I um... I wanted to tell you something" I say

"What is it love?"

"I.. I uh never stopped loving you either" I choke out

His grip on me loosens as he pushes me back to look at me. He holds me at an arm's length just staring.

"Then why?.. why did you marry him then?"

"Because you left... You left me with him, you never even showed up to stop the wedding" I shout at him

I feel my face flush as the tears turn slightly to anger. I pull away from him and start to walk away when I am stopped. Niall grabs my arm spinning me around.

" No you don't get to do that. You can not tell me you still love me and walk away" he shouts a look of hurt in his gorgeous eyes.

"WHY! You did!" I know that hit a nerve because I see him physically recoil.

Niall is silent for a moment before he looks up at me again.

"I'm sorry Bailey. I made a mistake, I shouldn't have left and I'm sorry" he says

"You ignored me for five years.. For five years I tried getting in touch and you never once tried yourself. You call that love Niall? That's not love, I doubt you even love me still" I say harshly.

A look of hurt, anger, and horror washes over Niall's face simultaneously.

"Don't ever say that to me! not now, not ever"

Niall closes the space between us. He wraps one hand around my lower back and places the other on my waist.

"I will never stop loving you Bailey."

Niall's mouth is on mine before I could say anything else. The only problem is I don't resist or tell him to stop or push him away. I do just the opposite; I melt into his body, my hands find their way into his hair as he grabs my ass with both of his. Any thought of Liam has vanished by this point. Right now all that's running through my head is Niall's sweet breath dancing with my own. After about five minutes of our secret PDA we go the rest of the way to the hotel.

"Bails there you are!" Annie shouts

"Yeah, what's wrong?" I ask

I look at Niall who looks at me and then to Annie. She knows something that I don't but what is it?

"Where's Hadleigh?" I ask concerned

"Oh Zayn is up in my room with her" she tells me

"So what's going on?"

"You didn't see the news yet?" She asks

"No why?" I say grabbing my phone and opening the world news app.

What I see in the headlines doesn't exactly surprise me. I thought maybe Liam had an accident or something, but no there are photos of him in London, he's with his daughter Leighana but Serra isn't around instead she is walking in between Liam and Sophia.

"That stupid prick" I hear Niall spit.

I don't say anything, I just turn off my phone and walk past the both of them. I go to Annie's room and scoop Haddie up and take her to our room. I lie her down between Liam's spot and mine, I crawl into bed next to her. I have no strength to even try to fight with him over this I just roll over and go to sleep.

NIALL POV:

"She'll be ok right?" Annie asks me

" Yeah Bailey is a strong woman. She'll be ok." I tell her grinning

"Niall, what did you do?"

"I promise I did nothing, Liam got himself into this on his own" I say holding up my hands in surrender.

I choose not to tell Annie about what happened on the beach. Instead I keep that to myself. Annie and I tell each other our good nights and I go up to my room when I'm inside I lock the door behind me.

"Daddy!" I hear her sweet little voice shout.

"Everlee, hi princess" I say holding her tightly.
