Broken Trust: Head Vs Heart

Olivia's POV

As I was running I realized I was far enough to stop. I fell to the ground and started crying having no idea where to go. I don't even know where the hell I am and it's freezing outside.
I gathered myself together and realized where I had fallen. I'm in the middle of a road that I don't recognise.
"Where the... hell am I?" I try to say in between sobs. "I hate Max! Fucking hate him!" I try to yell. I saw headlights but I didn't move... nor care.

Liam's POV

I almost got into my car but from inside the house I heard someone yelp.
"Olivia!" I ran back to the house and banged on the door. Surprisingly it opened. "Where's Olivia?" I demanded to the man in front of me.
"Who the fuck are you?" he questioned me.
"Uhhh!" I saw that the back door had been opened but never shut. "She's not here," I whispered. I ran out of the house. A shadowy figure was running down the street ahead of me. I knew it was Olivia so I got into my car and chased after her. Why was she running?
While I was chasing her I actually lost where she went.
"Dammit!" Giving up and losing hope were both circulating through me. I'll find her tomorrow.

The next day

I woke up, unsure of what had happened the night before.
"I guess I'll watch tv and eat ," I said to no one in particular. Niall is sleeping over in the corner of the room. The lads and I are staying in a hotel in California for another week, then we go back to London.
I called for room service to get me breakfast. Once they brought up a biscuit and sausage I turned on the tv.
"Breaking news," was what I heard when I turned the tv on. "Last night a girl got hit by a car. Apparently she was seen sitting in the middle of the street by many bikers. At approximately 11:30 a car hit her and she was flung down the road. She was discovered later by some teenagers coming come from a party.
"Oh my god..." I dropped my food all over me.
"She isn't dead," the man on the tv continued, "but she is in critical condition with one broken leg, a fractured skull, a broken rib cage, and bruises scattered across her body." All I could do was stare. I lost my appetite, felt emotionless, and got a headache all in one.
"Nooo!" I yelled, waking Niall. I quickly put on a hoodie and jeans and dashed out of the hotel. I got into my car and drove to the town's hospital, where I expected her to be.
When I arrived I walked up to the front desk.
"Olivia Jackson!" The woman rolled her eyes.
"She's in surgery right now sir and after surgery she won't be available because she's in a coma." I dragged my feet as I walked towards the exit.
I arrived back at the hotel.
"What was that all about?" Niall asked as I entered our hotel room.
"It was nothing." I had to lie because none of the lads knew about Olivia.
"Oh ok. Well you missed the news!"
"Uhh I watched it before I left."
"So you know that we are being stalked in our hotel also know as now?!"
"I didn't know that!"
"Well it's just a fan but it's still kinda scary."
"We are only here for about another week and then we go back to London. Its not a big deal."
Niall slumped back down to go back to sleep. I stared at the wall for five minutes before remembering what happened to Olivia so I walked over to my bed, layed down, and cried myself back to sleep.
