I finished telling the story about how I met Zayn. Zayn smiled the whole time while I was telling it.

"I remember that day like it was yesterday." Zayn said leaning his back against the coach. "The look on Victoria's face as epic. I wish I had a picture."

I giggled, her face was pretty funny.

"Alright now let's hear about how you met Liam." Ashleigh said.

Meeting Liam was probably one of the best days I had in freshmen year, besides getting to meet Niall of course. I smile thinking about the memory.

~Flashback~

I finally managed to escape the taunts of Victoria. I was walking with my head down towards the cafeteria. I turned the corner. I look up and see a door swinging open. I wasn't quick enough, everything went black for a second when I opened my eyes I was looking up at a brunette haired kid. I rubbed my head where I feel a bump already forming.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." He said, he was pale he probably is scared.

"It's fine." I groaned rubbing my head.

"Well I'm Liam. Liam Payne I just moved here from England." He said helping me up.

"I'm Breanne. Breanne Thomson." I said with a British accent.

He chuckled a little bit how I mocked his accent.

"If this isn't weird can I have lunch with you." He asked shyly.

I smiled, I was kind of thrilled he asked to have lunch with me. It would kill me if even the new kid didn't want to eat lunch with me. I linked arms with him and said,

"Of course you can."

We started to walk towards the cafeteria together. When I opened the double doors out of the corner of my eye I saw Victoria staring at me and Liam. I quickly look away and walked to the closest opened table. I say down quickly and pulled out my lunch bag. Liam followed suit. I heard clacking of high heels behind me. Great. Why can't I just have lunch in peace.

"Hi loser looks like you got the new kid to have lunch with you." She said wickedly.

"Whatever Victoria." I said looking at my lunch.

"wow, first time you have talked back to me." She said grabbing my arm.

"Let go of me." I said jerking my arm away form her.

"Why should I." She said gripping my arm even more.

I winced at the pain I was now receiving in my right arm.

"You need to stop." I heard Liam say. He was standing up in front of her.

"Why are you standing up for this loser?" She asked letting go of my arm.

"I am standing up for we because she is a nice person. And you are a bitch." He answered. I stared at him wide eyed he just said that.

"What did you say new kid." She said shoving him. I stood up quickly going between her and Liam.

"His name is Liam not 'new kid' and he called you a bitch. Which in fact you are." I said.

I could feel my blood boiling in my veins I haven't had this rush since 7th grade. I love this
feeling, old Breanne is coming back and she's ready to play.

"Woah we are just so confident today aren't we." She said shoving me.

"Yeah I am. It's only a month into school, and I'm all ready sick of your bullshit." I said shoving her back.

I can feel all eyes on us. Everyone waited for Victoria's next move. I was ready too, if she throws a punch that's when it will all go down. I stood there watching her. She didn't make a move.

"We will finish this later." She finally said.

She walked away with her plastic of friends. Liam pulled me in a hug.

"Thanks for standing up for me. I got bullied a lot at my old school." He said sadly.

"No problem. I should thank you for standing up for me." I said letting go of him.

"That's what friends are right.?" He said smiling down at me.

Friends? It's nice to have a friend again. Ever since Natalie left sixth grade year and Jared left after eighth grade year I forgot what it was like to have friends.

"I guess so."
