Prodigal

I heard my father call my name.

“Emmett, come here please.” He said in his very calm voice. It was calm, but when I heard it, it meant that he wasn’t happy about something.

“What’s up?” I asked, trying not to get too nervous.

“Sit down.” He said. I sat down.

“Why did you post this?” He asked, handing his phone to me. His phone showed the picture that Sarah posted on her Instagram that night.

“What’s wrong with this?” I asked.
