Not gonna happen

*TWO MONTHS LATER*
Hayley's POV
Two months and a lot has changed. Cassie and Liam are still dating and going strong while Harry is still hooking up with random girls. I kind of feel sorry for him but he told me that he liked it. Niall hasn’t dated or at least hooked up with anyone that I know of. Also Michelle quit her job at the coffee house and is now a waitress at some fancy restaurant and I got her job. I am not manager of the coffee house. It is a bit more work and a few more hours but the pay is worth it. What about me and Louis you ask? Well, first of all there is no me and Louis. Second of all I wish there was. Cassie keeps teasing me about liking him and Liam is doing the same to Louis yet neither one of us have told the other that we like each other. I don’t think Louis likes me anyway. He has been getting really close with his ex - girlfriend Eleanor Calder. I haven’t met her yet but from word of the boys she is tall and thin and…well…beautiful. Apparently she is a model. The point is there is absolutely no way I can compete with a model. If it came down to it, Louis would choose her over an ugly, insecure coffee house worker.
*present day*
“Hey Hayley” Niall greeted me as I stepped into his house. I smiled in return and made my way to the lounge room where I found Liam, Harry and Zayn all talking. They stopped when I came in
“Hey Hails. Haven’t seen you in a while” Liam observed
“Yeah, what’cha been up to?” I asked them curiously
“Guys, guess what?” Zayn asked excitedly his eyes lighting up at whatever he was thinking about.
“Jessie and I are officially a couple” he said. I kinda felt sorry for Connor, after all he really liked her. Despite me putting a good word in for him I guess Jessie chose Zayn. I still smiled. Zayn hadn’t had a serious relationship since Perrie (or so I heard)
“Good for you Zayn. Jessie is really fit” Harry exclaimed. Zayn smacked his shoulder
“That’s my girlfriend mate” he said seriously as he glared at Harry
“So what have you been doing Hails?” Niall asked to change the subject before Zayn murdered Harry.
“Obviously she has been fantasizing about Lou. What else?” Harry smirked, throwing a wink my way. I rolled my eyes. After a while you get used to his constant flirting.
“Not that it would matter he hasn’t been talking to me lately” I muttered to myself but the boys all heard it
“Don’t take it personally. He’s been ignoring all of us” Niall joined in, handing me a glass of water. I thanked him and took a sip before setting the glass down. Harry sighed
“My best mate won’t talk to me. I tried calling him last night but he declined the call and a few days ago he accepted but hung up after only a few minutes when Eleanor called him. He is hanging on her every word and it’s not good for him. He may fall back in love” Harry stated seriously. Who knew the womanizer had a soft side? I was about to say something when Louis strutted into the lounge room with a beautiful brunette clutching his arm.
“Who may fall back in love with who?” Louis asked curiously. Everyone stayed dead silent but I figured that was way too obvious.
“Zayn loves Perrie” I blurted out unable to stop it. Zayn gave me a deadly look while Niall and Harry let out small chuckles at his expression. Liam just sighed. I don’t know if Louis bought it but he shut up none the less. He sat down and Eleanor immediately plopped onto his lap. He smiled and she smiled back but you could tell it was forced.
“So, you must be the waitress Louis keeps talking about. Hannah?” she asked sweetly. Harry just scoffed. I got the feeling he didn’t like Eleanor but then again, neither did I.
“Yeah I’m Hannah the waitress. Nice to meet you” I replied sarcastically sweet. Niall burst out laughing and Louis just glared at me.
“It’s Hayley actually and I’m a manager not a waitress” I corrected her sassily.
“Really? Good for you Hails. You never told me” Louis said as he and Eleanor stood up and went into the kitchen
“You never gave me the chance” I sighed. Zayn shot me a sympathetic look.
“He is acting like a total dickhead” Liam said. Harry nodded. At that point Eleanor and Louis walked back into the room and announced that they needed to go.
“It was nice to catch up with you guys” Louis smiled.
“Yeah right, you were here for five fucking minutes and you talked to no one but Hails and Eleanor. I hardly call that catching up” Harry exclaimed as he stood up from his sitting position next to me.
“Harry sit the fuck down” I growled at him as I rose from my seat. He sighed and sat down again.
Louis sighed and started walking to the door, Eleanor trailing behind him. She turned around and made a little smirk at me before walking out the door. They walked out flopped down next to him. I sighed really loudly and Harry pulled me closer to him, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my head.
"Ok, ok." Harry sighed as he pulled away from the hug.
"All joking aside, do you really like Louis?" he asked me. I paused for a moment. I know i do but saying it out loud and to the boys made it so serious and....real.
"Yeah" i muttered closing my eyes.
"Well i think we can all agree that we like Hayley a lot more than we like Smeleanor" Niall joined in
"So i say, let's break them up" Harry's eyes glistened when he heard that. He rubbed his hands together
"Operation Haylouis starts now" he cheered.
"I'll go get a pencil and paper so we can start our plan" Zayn said enthusiastically while getting up from the couch. Liam sat there with an amused look on his face.
"If Cassie were here she would love the idea" i teased him. His eyes sddenly darkened. What did i say? Was it Cassie? Were they going through a rough patch? She didn't say anything to me but then again, we have kind of drifted apart since she got togther with Liam. We just don't hang out that much.
"Haylouis?" i asked Harry with a hint of amusement in my voice.
"That is of course, your shipping name" Niall said in a "duh bitch" kind of way
"No i got that Niall" i replied
"it's just...so...cheesy" i smirked at them. Zayn returned and Harry instantly began writing things down. How long exactly had he been planning this 'break-up'. I call it a 'break-up' because Louis says there just friends but my eyes say otherwise.
