'Unaccomplished Dreams'

She was gonna buy a gun, and blow her fucking brains out.

-4 years later-

He sat down, 3 closed beers in one hand, and an open one in another. All the boys huddled around Ashton, the guy holding the beers, and took them from him. All of them except Calum.

"Alright, boys! What we gonna watch? Some ladies football?" He grinned, gulping down the Bud Light. Luke giggled, as Michael slapped his chest. Calum was the only one not for the idea. He sat his closed beer down on the coffee table and walked into the bedroom him and Luke shared. He didn't understand this emptiness in his heart.

When somebody mentioned football, his heart tore into several pieces. He wondered what it would be like to be an Olympian instead of a band member. Two options were right in front of him, being in a band that might not even make it, or be an Olympian in football. He sighed, rummaging around on Luke's bed, trying to find his own phone, that Luke often stole. Calum lifted the comforter only to find a book. 'Unaccomplished Dreams' The title spoke to his soul.

He turned over the cover, to the title page, to the about the author. He didn't want to hear his own sappy story, but instead a in look on how people coped. Maybe this person didn't have an old dream, maybe he already completed it.

'Ashlyn Jay grew up in the suburbs of Florida with an older drop out brother, a single mom, who's husband passed away, and her cruel grandparents. Life was hard for her, and she always had a dream to become the best selling author. She made it from the little site of fan fictions.'

Anger overpowered his body, and he threw the book across the room. Calum couldn't even describe to himself how he felt.

---

"Come back soon!" Ashlyn smiled, handing the book back to the young girl. She signed another book, handing it back, and wishing them well. She was almost there. Now all she had to do is find her love, then buy the gun. Xiana sat next to her, also wishing Ashlyn's fans well being. Then she saw a boy who caught her eye.

Normally, Ashlyn wouldn't look up unless she heard pain, or youth in the voice. Xiana kicked her from under the table, and Ashlyn glared at her. She peered over, then quickly looked back at her. Ashlyn got the hint. She looked up, almost screaming.

"Hello." The boy smiled, handing the book to Ashlyn. "Can you write, 'Love-" Ashlyn quickly cut him off.

"Luke, right? I uh... I'm sorry, what'd you want me to put?" Luke grinned at her awkwardness. Or was it that she knew his name. Definitely the second one.

"Whatever you want. I love all of your books by the way. And uh, I'd really like to ask you a few questions. It seems like you like-"

"Okay, kid, move on." The bodyguard growled, pushing Luke.

"Carl! Calm down, let him finish." Ashlyn shot back, and the buff man stepped back to his place.

"As I was saying, it seems like you like me, so uh, here's my number." Luke smirked, grabbing a bright, yellow sticky note from the table, and jotting a few numbers down, and stuck it on the table. He grabbed his signed book, and quickly walked out of the building.

Luke didn't quite know how to feel. Scared that she might leak his number, or that she won't call. Or maybe that he just met one of his inspirations to even write music.
Ashlyn waved bye to Xiana, and stuck her hands in her pockets, trying to beat the cold. She noticed the same blonde hair as always, and a few flashes around him. He must be taking pictures with fans. She jogged over to him, still having her hands in her deep, warm pockets, and stopped a few yards away, waiting for fans to leave.

Luke must've noticed her because he quickly took the pictures with the couple of fans, and walked to where she waited. This was him, Ashlyn thought. This is the guy I use. Not only will I have my fans to love me, but his fans, too. Ashlyn smiled her best smile, and pulled out her phone.

"Picture?" She giggled, knowing how weak her flirting game was. Luke nodded, chuckling. He grabbed Ashlyn's phone, fixing his beanie, and kissed her cheek. Flash. "Thank you for reading my books, Luke. I like all your music, too, by the way." She smiled, placing her small hand on his chest. Luke didn't mind, he would like to place his hand upon her chest as well.

Luke had the urge to kiss her thin, pink lips. He stared into her eyes, leaning down about three feet. Her tiny frame, slowly got closer to Luke, and words were not spoken. Ashlyn stood on the tips of her toes, and pressed her lips against Luke's jawline.

"Thank you, Luke." She smiled, walking off. Little did Luke know, she wasn't thanking him for reading her books, but for saving her life.

And I still don't fucking know. He's always wanting to draw on me XD
He always draws cat food on people (Don't ask, I don't even know) but he drew a really cool looking flower one time, and squid ward another time. Also, whenever I talk, he shuts up, and stares into my eyes. But other then that, he shows no interest.
