Surrounded yet Alone

The boys have been here for three days now. Yesterday we went to Albany. We had to bring a lot of security because of all the fans. All the fans were so sweet and super nice. I don't know, I guess I thought some would be mad I was joining One Direction, but some even wanted pictures with me. I had a great time yesterday and I think the boys did too.

Harry is so funny. He makes the stupidest comments that make me laugh so much. I hope we get closer on tour or before tour. I can tell we're going to be good friends.
Liam is such a sweet person. He's so nice to me and he was really nice to all the fans yesterday. He took time to greet them and take pictures with almost all of them.
Next we have Niall. I could've sworn he flirted with me a couple of times yesterday. He kept calling me "beautiful" or even "gorgeous". Ha, I'm far from either of those things so maybe he just says that to everyone. Maybe it's an Irish thing? I don't know, I've never been to Ireland! Whatever he was doing though was working and after yesterday I could tell I was starting to fall for him. Not good, Luna.
Finally is Louis. I can't figure Louis out. He isn't mean to me, but he makes some weird comments about Niall and I and it makes everything awkward. I don't know, it's hard to describe.

Today the guys will be meeting my parents. I'm excited for it, but a little part of me is nervous. I'm super close to my parents. I only live about 15 minutes away from them. I know everything will probably go well, but deep down I'm still a little worried.
My sister, Beth, and her 2 kids might be there too. Her kids are the cutest kids ever. Elaine is 5 and Jacob is 2. I absolutely adore them both and I can't wait to see them!

I'm texting the boys that I'm waiting outside their hotel right now. The plan was I'd pick them up, we'd go have dinner at my parent's house, then we'd head back to the hotel because we need to use the rest of this week to plan and get ready for the upcoming tour. The text to the boys sent and now I'm texting my parents that we're on our way.

I don't get to finish the text when the door next to me opens and I hear, "Hey there beautiful, how are you?"

I smile and say a little awkwardly, "Hi Niall. Um I'm good, how are you?"

"Well, I'm better now that I'm with you." he says with a shy smile. My cheeks begin to blush and I just look at the bottom of the steering wheel and wait for the rest of the boys to pile in the car. I finish the text to my parents and we begin our way their house.

Dinner went well. I could tell that my parents liked the boys a lot, which I'm super happy about. My sister and her kids were there too and it was really cute watching the boys play with the wild toddlers. They're all so good with kids, it melts my heart.

Right now, we're all in Niall's hotel room talking about tour. Our manager said we have to use the rest of the week to get ready for the tour ahead, which I'm kinda bummed about but also really excited for. The guys were all drinking beer, but I stayed with my water. They didn't say anything about it though which was nice. I looked at the clock and it was already 4 in the morning.

"Alright, I'll see you guys tomorrow. I'm going back to my room to sleep." Liam said rubbing his eyes.

We all said goodnight to him and I thought maybe I should go too. I get pretty bad headaches when I'm tired and I definitely don't want that to happen tomorrow. "I think I'm going to head back to my apartment", I said yawning.

"It's pretty late Luna, maybe you should just stay with one of us tonight?" Harry suggests.

"No really it's fine, I can drive to my apartment. It's a pretty short drive." I say as I stand up.

"C'mon, I have an extra bed you can sleep here." Niall says. Ugh, those eyes could convince me into doing anything.

"Fine. Thank you Niall." I said quietly, "Ugh I don't have anything to change into."

"Bye lovebirds. See you tomorrow", Louis says as he's already halfway out the door.

Harry followed him out, "Bye guys, see ya later."

"Here you go love", Niall tosses me one of his shirts to change into.

"Thanks", I say with a big smile on my face. I grab it and walk into the bathroom. I wash my face clearing all the makeup, take out my contacts, and change into his shirt. I grab my glasses and head back out. He's in one bed on his phone, so I do the same in the other bed.

After only a few minutes of silence he shuts his phone off and turns towards me in the dark room, "So are you excited for tour?"

"I'm so excited, but I'm really nervous too. I'm not used to doing all these interviews and meeting fans every time I go out." I answer him honestly.

By the time we finish talking it's 6 in the morning and we only have a few hours to sleep. I'm happy though. I always seem happy after talking to that boy, I think as I drift to sleep.
