"Now, what are you actually doing here?" I cross my arms over my chest and lift an eyebrow.

They don't move, nor do they say anything.


"Well?"
"We just wanted to speak to Ashton." Lauren replies.


"But he clearly doesn't wanna talk to you."
"We have news for him."


"What kind of news?"
"For him."


"Whatever you have to say you say to both of us." Ashton replies.
Lauren hesitates and looks away.


Vanessa on the other hand immediately begins to talk after she sees that Lauren isn't going to reply.
"Your mum disappeared." She says.


"So? It's not like she was there for me at all." Ashton rolls his eyes.
"No, I mean that she's missing. She's probably looking for you."


I hold my breath and look at Ashton's who's eyes grow big.
"Looking for me?"


"For you. Because you ran away." Lauren spats.
"Because I didn't feel at home there."


"Have you even realised that she might be dead? Maybe she's gone already Ashton! Maybe she's in pain. Horrible pain... I would never forgive myself if she ends up dead."
"She has more money on her bank account than us four together. Don't be so dramatic."


"She didn't take any of her stuff. No phone. No credit card. Only some cash."
"C'mon, dad has people all over the world. They'll find her within a few days."


"That's the problem... She has been gone for two weeks.."
Ashton falls silent and I look at him again.


"Ashton?" I ask softly.
He ignores me and leaves the kitchen.


"Ashton!" I follow him upstairs.
I stop in front of his room.


I hear the muffed sounds from books and other stuff being thrown around the room.
"Ashton?" I ask.


There falls a silent before he replies.
"Leave me alone."


"I'm not leaving."
"You are."


"I'm not."
I slowly open his door and see him standing in the middle of his room.


Everything is thrown around and he's breathing heavily.


"Ash..." I walk to him.
He gets a hand through his hair and I see tears blinking in his eyes.


"I told you to leave." He mumbles.
"I told you that I'm not going anywhere." I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him tight.


He instantly hugs me back.
"We're gonna figure this out okay? She'll be okay. She's not stupid." I mumble against his shirt.


"You don't even know her."
"But I know enough to know that she's okay."


I can feel him smile against my skin.
"It's gonna be okay Ash.. We're gonna be okay, she's gonna be okay. It's not your fault."


"If I just stayed there then..."
"But then I never would've met you."


He sighs and he looks at me.
"That's true." He admits.


"We'll figure this out." I smile.
He smiles back. It's just a little smile, but it's better than nothing.


"C'mon." I take his hand and we walk back downstairs.


Lauren and Vanessa stare at us as we walk into the kitchen again.


"How did you find me?" Ashton asks out of nowhere.
"Simple, I asked one of dad's people." Lauren rolls her eyes.


"Does dad know?"
"No."


Ashton nods his head in understatement.
"Do you have a place to sleep?" He asks.


The room falls silent and I need to keep myself from sighing.
Of course they haven't. Why would they?


I hear Ashton sigh.
"You can stay with me, for now."


A smirk forms on Vanessa's lips as she wiggles her eyebrows at me.
Oh no, she did not.


I take a few steps towards her and lift my fist ready to hit her.


"Don't!" Ashton yells and he grabs my wrist.


"You two. Go upstairs." He nods his head to the door.
"Now."


When Vanessa and Lauren are out of the room he lets go of my wrist.


"What are you doing?!" He begins.
"She is trying to steal you from me!" I reply.


"You just met her!"
"And I don't trust her!"


He sighs.
"Just leave May."


"What?"
"Just leave. I can't handle this and a jealous girlfriend right now."


"No, I'm not leaving.." I shake my head.

"You are. I'm not playing this time."
"Good, because I'm not either."


"May.."
"No."


"Don't you trust me?"
"Of course I do Ashton but-"


"Leave."


I look at him for a few more seconds.
"Fine. If you don't need me, I'll go."


"May.. Of course I need you.."
"Of course you don't! Every time you do this Ashton! Every time I try to help you, you shut me out!"


"I'm trying May.. I really am."
"I know you are.. But it's not about that. You don't trust me."


"Of course I do-"
"Then believe me. I'm telling you they're not just here to inform you about your mother!"


He sighs again.
"Just... Just go."


I sigh too and a single tear falls down my cheek.
"You don't believe me."


"May.. I've known them my whole life."


I shake my head and walk out of the door.

And there're not just randomly people who are reading this and living in holland and maybe want to go to the Hey Violet concert with Meeee? :)
Ok, no but srsly, I need someone to go with bc my friends don't like 'em and bc I didn't see them with the slfl European tour (bc they weren't playing on that par of the tour) and I've never seen them live before and I just feel like I need to but I don't wanna go alone and now I'm sad bye.


ANYWAY. THERES MY WEEKLY RANT.
