Summary
As a child and when I was listening, my mother used to always tell me "Sometimes the storm that you've tried so hard to avoid, sucks you in and destroys you anyways." It's hard to believe that when you're six and have nothing to worry about other than what kind of ravioli you want for lunch, but now as an adult, those words have almost become like a doctrine.
They never really were a disaster like the quote entails, no not even close, they were so much more than that.
They were, for a lack of a more powerful word, a blessing, in it's most pure of meanings.
Unlike myself, who can only be properly identified as the disaster from all of my mother's stories.

Characters
Aaron Whelan
Violet's 26 year old, older brother. He's a freelance professional photographer and grabs gigs with well known magazines such as Vogue, Cosmo, and Glamour. Adores a regular of his, who is a name you'll recognize as being Zayn's model ex-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
Candace McCullin
23 year old freelance alternative model, who helped Violet through the ropes when she was still a model herself. Violet's best friend and heavily crushing on One Direction's main heart throb, Harry Styles, even if he is younger than her.
Gigi Hadid
Young freelance model who often is the main point of Aaron's photography.
Harry Styles
Four out of four of One Direction and current holder of most falls on stage between the boys. He's a not-so-secret admirer of Violet and Candace, of course, he's Harry Styles. He and Violet were born in the same year and they often get made fun for being the youngest.
Kaylynn Summers
Violet's 19 year old, half-sister, who works as a receptionist for Aaron's photography studio and quite frankly is not a fan of One Direction's music, but instead, Zayn's.
Liam Payne
Three out of the four to One Direction. He often writes songs with Violet and Louis. Even though his relationship with 33 year old, Cheryl didn't pan out as he would've liked, he seems to have an eye out for Violet's younger sister, Kaylynn.
Louis Tomlinson
The second out of the four members of One Direction and new father. He has known Violet since primary school and even though their friendship has remained strong after these years and their four years of dating, he's still madly in love with her. He knows that she still loves him too and urges that maybe he's the right choice for her instead of Zayn.
Micah Winters
Violet's 27 year old head of security and body guard. He had a brief fling with Violet's best friend, Candace McCullin a couple years before the story begins.
Niall Horan
One-fourth of the boy band, One Direction. Violet normally refers to him as Baby Spice or Precious Irish Snowflake.
Violet Caoimhe (kee-va) Whelan or 'Violet Wolf' (stage name)
The spunky 21 (almost 22) year old main character. She is singer and makeup artist who is the captivation of both Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. She struggles with the choice between the two boys even after Zayn begins a solo career and she sets off into stardom herself.
Zayn Malik
Once the fifth heart throb of One Direction, Zayn has built his new sexy reputation around being rebellious and his new solo career, topping millions of charts with his debut album Mind of Mine. Grateful for his new found glory and his one of a kind girlfriend, fellow artist, Violet Wolf, he soon notices that his old best mate seems to be more in love with his girl than he originally presumed.
