Wait. What? Not again. I stare at him.
"What?"
"He.. Killed my best Friend."
"Why would he?"
"How the hell am I supposed to know that?!"
"Please Calum, if he did, I would've know that!"
"Why would he tell you?!"
"because I'm the... I was the upcoming leader!'
"That's no reason."

Okay, Lana. Keep calm. We need to keep them on our friend side, we can't miss the shot. I need to calm down. He still needs to think that I like him.

I sigh.
"I'm sorry Calum. I didn't mean it like that."
"It's okay, you couldn't know."
I smile and lace our fingers.
"And I would love to go out with you tonight."
Game on.
"Go and dress in something nice then." He points to the closet and walks out of the room.
hehe... I don't have anything 'nice.'
I sigh and call Charlie.

"Charlieeeeee?" I ask with a high voice.
"What do you want?" I hear her sigh.
"Can I borrow a dress?" We were the same size anyway.
"Why would you wanna borrow a dress?" She laughs.
"Calum asked me out and he said 'wear something nice'."
"Don't worry, your lifesaver is on the way." She giggles.
"Thank yooouuu."

I hang up the phone. Well, let's wait until she's here.


after ten minutes I hear her climb up the window.
I quickly lock my door and open my window.
"Be quick!" I whisper-shout to her.
"What do you think I'm trying to do?" She shots back.
I smirk while I help her up. When she's in, I close the window and look at the bag she brought with her.
She smirks and opens it. She grabs an whole outfit out of the back, together with her makeup.
"Charlie, I only asked for an outfit, not a whole makeover."
"Just sit in that chair and don't move." She points at a chair.
I sigh and sit down.
"That was sarcastic. You need to get in your dress first."
"But I don't like it!"
"Be happy I picked black!"
"You would never..."
"Oh I would." She crosses her arms.
"Gimme the dress." I sigh.


After 30 minutes she's done with me. I actually like it. Never thought I would say that.
"You look awesome." She smiles at the result.
"You think?" I play with the end of my dress.
"You're nervous?"
"I'm just afraid that he'll find out.."
"He won't. But I need to go tho. Good luck." She kisses my cheek before grabbing her back and jumping out of the window. I see her run down the street and then she's gone. I sigh again. I walk to my door and open it. I walk downstairs and into living room.
"You're ready?" Calum asks before looking up.
When he does, everyone looks at me.
"Wow... You look beautiful." Calum says while he gets up from the couch and takes my hand.
"let's go."


We walk out of the house and get into his car. He drives us out of town. Far out of town. For a second I'm afraid that he'll kill me.
"Calum?" I ask.
"Yeah?"
"Where are we going?" I try to sound casual, but I know that the fear comes through.
"You're afraid that I'll kill you?" He smirks.
"Why is that so abnormal? You were the rival gang, you have any reason to."
"I would never hurt you in purpose."
I sigh.
"I'm sorry, I'm just used to that..."
"That's okay, I get it. I just hope that eventually you'll trust me.."


CALUMS POV.

This is so bad. So bad. Deans gonna kill me if he finds out. I can't get feelings. I never thought it would be so bad when I agreed to this. Why does she have to be so... Lana?
I'm fucked up. So fucked up. I'm a mess.
I thought it would be easy. Hell I was wrong....
"So, are we almost there?" She interrupts my thoughts.
"Almost." I give her a smile and she smiles back. Don't... Ugh..


After a few more minutes I park the car in a empty parking lot near some woods.
"Uhh.. Calum?" She asks, nervous.
"Lana, I'm not gonna kill you."
"I know.... I know......"
I get out and walk to her door. By the time I'm there, she got out of the car. I take her hand and we walk into the woods.
"Where are we?" She asks.
"You'll see." I smile.
We walk through the woods.
"Calum, I didn't dress up for walking through the woods, besides these heels are killing me."
"Pull them off then."
"And then what? Walking barefoot? No thanks."
"You can be such a girl sometimes."
"I am a girl."
"We're here."

We arrive at a open spot with a lake. It shitters in the moonlight.
I lead her to the rocks and we take a seat. She lays her head on my shoulder. Damn, she smells so good... If I could just...
No. I can't. I'm not allowed to.
"It's beautiful." She whispers.
"So are you."
She smiles and grabs my hand. She's making this so damn hard..
"Calum?"
"Yeah?"
"Why did you brought me here."
"Because no one comes here."
"Creepy..."
"You know I don't meant it like that."
"I know."

Then she laces our fingers and looks at them. I'm going to regret this.
"Lana?"
She lifts up her head.
I cup her chin and let my lips softly land on hers.

And I mean it this time. I'm having feelings for her...
