"Case dismissed."

The words echo trough the court room as everyone gets up, gathering their things. Somewhere in the front row, the man in his late twenties with a big frown between his eyebrows sits still, not seeming aware of his surroundings. His hands are slightly shaking, fingertips cold as ice. Loud footsteps are coming his way and he finally snaps back to reality.

"Daddy." The little girl whines and tugs at her father's sleeve.

"It's okay, baby." The man lifts her up onto his lap, stroking her shiny blonde hair. "It's over now."

Looking into her big baby blue eyes he can't help his emotions for getting the best of him. He hugs the little girl tight to his chest and keeps his eyes shut, to stop the silent tears from coming out.

"Come on, Luna." An elegant woman steps in front of them with a sour look on her face. "It's time to go home." Flipping her just as equally blonde hair over her shoulder, she extends her hand towards the little girl.

"But I wanna stay with daddy!" The five year old pouts.

"Richard." The lady now directs her attention to the man holding the girl. He sighs sadly.

"No, mommy is right, honey. You have to go." He smiles, although it doesn't reach his eyes, and helps his daughter get back on the ground.

"What is going to happen now?" Her lips are slightly parted as she looks between the two adults.

"Well, you and mommy are going to move somewhere else." Her father explains. "And I am going to come visit once a week."

"Once a week?" She gasps. "But who will be showing me my lucky star every night from now on?"

Looking at the woman next to him, he can't form any words for a moment. She rolls her eyes and silently urges him to end the conversation already. Looking back at the little girl he smiles and leans down to kiss her forehead.

"You just think of me every night and it will come to you by its self."
