"Hey, Riley. Miss me?" Cole grins at me. I don't know how to react here?

"Uh, y-yeah, when did you get out?"

"Today, actually. I was about to see my family but I thought it's swing by and see how your boring life is going." He teases, completely unaware that celebrity I fawned over in class has told me he loves me, and not just as a fan.

"Uh," I laugh, "Come on in then." We sit on the couch, and I huff. "Well I'll start from the beginning I suppose,"

"Oh come on, how much could've changed?" Cole laughs.

"You- would not believe me." I laugh. "Two years ago, I won tickets on a radio to go see and meet 5 Seconds of Summer." I smile at the memory. I leave out the part about Mukeisreal96 because then he'd know about the fan fiction.

"Oh, seriously? Finally, you only talked about it everyday." Cole laughs. He has absolutely no idea of what I'm about to say, and I don't know how to make it clear.

I smile at my fingers, "Uh- Yeah, so after I met them, they showed up at my house, and said I was the tenth person to meet them or something, and I got to go on tour with them with Max." I say, now realizing that whole thing was probably made up.

"Are you kidding?" He asks.

"No." I laugh.

"Oh my shit."

"So anyway, I kinda had this thing with Luke-"

"Which one is Luke?"

"The blonde one. Lead singer."

"Right, right, okay, keep going."

"And we were both awkward and shy and never knew what to say, but he had an Amy,"

"Oooh, an Amy." He laughs.

"You're making me sound stupid, stop it." I smile, "But so I'd sleep in his bed and everything-"

"Why?"

"I dunno. I said the couch wasn't comfortable and he said Amy didn't have to know."

"Isn't that like cheating though? I mean if you had to lie to do it." Cole asks.

"Not exactly-"

"Wait wait you did all of this with him even though he had a girl friend?" Cole raises his eyebrows, "What happened to my Riley? You couldn't even look someone who looked like Luke in the eye."

"No no, she wasn't his actual girl friend, it was just a PR stunt."

"But you still thought they were an actual thing." He points out. Oh god. I did. "Sorry, you can keep going." He laughs. Am I a bad person?

"Uhm. Okay, so then after like, a year of touring, we've gotten to know each other really well, and Amy's PR thing is over, and we- very dramatically -ended up kissing at the airport-"

"Riley there are children at the airport." Cole jokes, acting offended.

"Shut up," I laugh, "Okay so then six months later with no word from him, he shows up at my house-"

"Oh god did you fuck." He gasps.

"No, shut up and let me finish!" I laugh, "Now we're together, he loves me, and he's on tour."

"Why aren't you with him, then?"

"Because I don't want to be famous."

"Wait, I'm sorry, back up, the guy you've been fawning over for years and yelling at people about is in love with you?" He pauses. "How the fuck does that happen?" I shrug, and he laughs, "Well I guess Stazzi was wrong for telling you he never would be, huh."

"How is she, anyway?"

"Wouldn't know." He shrugs, "I broke up with year a little over a year ago."

"Oh."

"Yeah, all she talked about was you being a terrible person for 'getting me in jail'." He shrugs.

"Oh." I repeat. Oh god, I am a bad person.
