Fangirl
Annoying
MAX'S POINT OF VIEW
I can't stop thinking about what Ashton said to me. I don't know who I am? He's right though. I'd hate to admit it, but I don't know me. It's not like I had a lot of help figuring it out, my mom never gave a shit about me. She'd let me do whatever, she never set any ground rules. When I was a kid I would draw all over the walls. You know what she did? She packed our bags and found the next place for us to live, whether that was with some random guy she was now "in love with", a crappy apartment with all the locks broken, or behind a dumpster, she never dealt with me. I never got the hugs and kisses I saw little kids getting. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have survived if it weren't for me crying a lot. My mom would usually freak out and hold me until I stopped. I learned that technique so quickly, by four I'd cry for like an hour just so she'd hold me and I'd feel at least a little bit like every other kid. It stopped working when I was about seven though. That's when she hardcore gave up on me. Most of the time she'd just completely ignore me when I needed something. I think that's why every time I get an opportunity I take it. Whether it's getting hit on by drunk guys at a bar or going on tour with a band I know nothing about, I think it's because I want to live my life better than I did before. I guess I never got to figure out who I actually was in between all of that, though.
RILEY'S POINT OF VIEW
Okay. So I'm totally aware of Amy being Luke's girlfriend, and I'm happy if he's happy, but she's so annoying. I've never met anyone as annoying as this girl, and that includes Stazzi. I've never met a girl so fake, either. She's straight out of a movie.
Amy's constantly around now, too. I don't know why she is, but it's very infuriating.
LUKE'S POINT OF VIEW
(A COUPLE DAYS AGO)
"So basically, you two need to spend a lot more time with each other. On camera, and off camera." My manager explains. I frown, while Amy is buzzed with excitement. Not like she isn't always.
"Alright!" She squeals. Why does she have to squeal all the time?!
"But why?" I whine, and she instantly starts hardcore glaring at me.
"Because, Luke," He sighs, "You have two fans-"
"One fan." I correct. "Max has only heard our music once."
"Alright, well you have a huge fan with you on tour now, and we need to make sure she doesn't suspect anything weird and tell everyone you're fake." I glance at Amy when he says 'you're fake'. True that.
"But Riley wouldn't say anything anyway." I complain. I just want to tell her. I want to tell her so bad that I'm not dating Amy. Of course I want to date Riley and everything but I really just don't want to lie to her.
"We can't take any risks."
"If it's publicity you want then tell everyone we're a publicity stunt! That'll really bring us attention." I huff.
"Luke." My manager gives me the 'look', so I drop it. He sighs. "So the plan is for you to take Amy to Australia to meet your mom-"
"Amy already met my mum."
"Yes, OFF camera." I roll my eyes.
"You'll take Amy to Australia to meet your mom, and if your mom could add a little extra drama, that'd be great-"
"I'm leaving my mum out of this. Amy'll meet her, stay with us, and that's it. My mum can make her own decisions." I say flatly. I'm not trying to be so mean, but I'm so done with this stunt. Amy is driving me crazy, and not in the good way.
"Fine, Luke." He sighs.
"Are the girls coming too?" I ask. Amy huffs from beside me, slouching down.
"Uh... Well. I guess."
"Okay cool. I guess we're done here." I smile.
RILEY'S POINT OF VIEW
(PRESENT DAY)
"Oh Lukey," Amy giggles. She sits on Luke's lap, and he subtly moves her off. It's so clear he doesn't like her, I don't get it. Are they really a PR stunt? Are they just pretending extra hard because I'm here? Either way it's fucking annoying, and I'm about to slap a bitch.
