I just hope Luke will be okay.....

So after I packed the stuff for Luke I go to Sarah. When I see that she's still asleep, I call Mel and Mike.

"Hey Demi, what's wrong?" I hear Mike at the other side of the line. He's worried.
"I just wanted to ask if you could watch Sarah? She's asleep right now, but someone needs to be there when she wakes up and I need to take some stuff to Luke."
"Oh yeah, of course! We'll be there in five." He sighs in relief and hangs up the phone.


I wait for them to arrive. When I finally hear a knock on the door I stand up from the couch. I walk to the door and open it. As promised, Michael and Mel are standing in front of it.

"Hey guys." I say while I let them in and get the stuff together.
"Hey Deems, anything special we need to know about?" Mel asks while I grab the back with Luke's stuff from the couch.
"Uhh, no. Just let her sleep, but she hasn't eaten much yet. So when she wakes up you'll need to feed her. I think there's still standing some in the fridge for her. I promise won't stay too long away."
"Take your time. It's okay, we'll stay as long as needed."
I smile at them before leaving through the door. I walk to my car and put the stuff in the back seat. Then I got into the car and drive away.


I park the car in the parking lot from the hospital and get out. I grab his stuff and walk in. I walk to the counter and stand in a queue for a few minutes. When It's finally my turn I realise that I don't have anything to ask. I sigh and walk to Luke's room.


When I'm at his door, I stand still for a second. Do I need to knock? What if he's asleep?
I decided to just walk in. I open the door as quietly as I can. I walk in and close the door softly behind me.

I walk to his bed and open the bag that I brought with me. I put the photo of Luke, Sarah and me on his night stander. Then I walk to his closet and put the clothes in it. I was just busy with his last shirt when I heear him whisper. I turn around and walk to his bed.

"Hey." I smile.
"Princess, you came back." He smiles.
"Of course, I promised you."
"I-I.. still need to talk to you."
"Luke.."
"You promised me you would let me talk."
I sigh.
"Fine, but not too much."
"I-It's not your fault."
"Luke, I know...."
"Demi, I know you, and I know that you're feeling as quilty as shit."
I sigh.
"Luke, it's okay.."
He grabs my hand, but doesn't say anything.
"Where's Sarah?" He asks suddenly,
"At home. Sleeping."
"Okay." He smiles.
"Princess, I'm going to be okay. We'll be just fine." He smiles before drifting off to sleep.


I stay for about 30 more minutes, but then I leave.


When hen I open the door of my home I get greeted by my dogs. I smile and pet them while I walk to the living room. I see that Sarah's awake now and she brabbles happily when she sees me.

"Hey gurl." I smile while I take her over from Mel.
"So, how's Luke?" Mike asks.
"He's..." I stop for a second to hold back my tears,
"He has a broken leg and his head is bandaged. He has scratches and bruises all over him." I whisper while I tear drops down my cheek. I stand up and give Sarah to Mike. Then I walk upstairs without saying another word.

When I'm in my room I start crying.


I sit on my bed and look at my hands. I hear a soft knock on the door. I don't look up bug I know that Mel just came in.

"Hey, it's okay." She says while she hugs me.



She just hugs me and I just let her hold me.

"Sshh, Luke is gonna be okay. Everything will be fine." She whispers.
Then Michael runs in with a worried look on his face.
I look up at him.
"What's wrong?..."
