My life is amazing, my parents and I live in a huge Cape Cod style home on the coast. The beach is literally twenty feet from my back porch. I do miss Georgia sometimes.. well my Mamaw anyways, she’s the best. I don't think i could find myself going back to Georgia. I wouldn’t be able to leave Tessa here all alone. You see Tess is my best friend; she’s a total bad ass, won’t let anyone fuck with me…ever.

Two weeks ago we got another new neighbor. By the sound of his parents' accent it sounds like they are from somewhere in Europe. I won’t lie the boy is very good looking with his chiseled jaw line, bright green eyes and his luscious chocolate curls… OK you got me he is a fucking GOD! Summer is about over and school starts in only three days. Tess and I are juniors this year, one more year and we are out of here. Tessa is having an end of summer/ birthday party on the beach, behind my house tomorrow night. I honestly cannot wait. She wants to invite the new boy from next door.

THE NEXT DAY:
“Hey girl what’s going on?” I answer the phone

“What are you wearing tonight for the party?’ Tess asks

“Well I’m not sure about that.”

“Hmmm so, we need to go shopping then?” she asks me

“Most definitely! I'll be there in ten minutes to get you.” I say

I gather my bag and grab my mom's car keys then head out to the car. Mom doesn't know that I use her car. I don't have a driver's license but who at seventeen doesn't have a car?

I reach Tessa’s house then we go to the mall. After two hours of trying on different outfits I finally decide on a cute one piece short outfit. The straps crisscross in the back, plus it will be easy to change into my bathing suit when I take it off. Tessa has me stop at her house so she can grab a few things before we go to my house. We pull into the driveway thankfully my mom and dad aren't home yet. When we get out of the car I spot him. How could anyone miss those gorgeous brown curls?

“Uhm Emerson? Who is that?” Tess asks

“He’s my new neighbor I was telling you about.”

“OH….HEY STUD!” she shouts waving at him

“What the fuck are you doing?” I whisper, panicked

“I just want to say hello…Jeez calm down Cujo.” Tess tells me

The boy walks across the yard and stops in front of us. He’s even sexier up close. I can feel myself gawking at him as my cheeks for sure turn red. I can’t help it though, it’s too hard to look away. After staring for what feels like a century, I feel a hard elbow in my side.

“Ow, what!?” I say startled

“Oh, sorry I was just saying hello.” The green eyed god says to me

“Oh..sorry.. Hi I’m Emerson, uhh this is my house.” I feel the heat rise in my cheeks again.

What a stupid thing to say of course this is my house.

“Well, Hello Emerson my name is Harry..uh Harry Styles nice to meet you. I just moved in with my mum, step dad and my sister.”

“Nice to meet you too Harry, um, well we have to go… lots to do.” I say

“Hey come to the beach around 8:30 tonight. I’m having a birthday party and would be happy if you would come.” Tessa invites Harry

“Uhm, yeah sure, I’ll be there” he says

Tessa and I go up to my room and do our hair and make-up. We decide to just put our bikinis on under our outfits just so we won't have to leave the party to change. I decide to wear my white flip flops since we are going to the beach, it's too hot to go barefoot and there is no point in wearing tennis shoes.

“Uhhmmm Em C’mere….LOOK!”

I go over to the window and look out. Apparently my window and Harry’s bedroom windows face each other. His curtains are wide open and all I see is a set of rock hard abs and naked legs staring back at me. He’s in boxers so he must be changing for the party too. I’m in an awe and can’t say anything, so I just stare and drool while thinking to myself...

Who is this boy next door?
