~the next day~


Well, it seems like I need to face Ashton today. I'm just going to ignore him as much as I can.

I walk through the hallways as I'm searching for Ashley. I'm having my ideas with who she's being with. When I see her, my ideas get confirmed. I sigh and tap her on the shoulder.
"Excuse me. Best friend in big trouble." I say and she turns around.
"Sierra! You're back!" She says while she hugs me.
"Hey Sierra." Tom awkwardly says. I just nod and turn my attention to Ashley.
"Well, I couldn't stay away my whole life, I still wanna graduate and stuff..." I say.
"I'm happy that you're back. I was so lonely." she says.
"I was only gone for a day."
"That's too long."
I giggle a little but my smile faded as soon as I saw what was on the walls. Ashley didn't went over the top when she said it was hanging all over the school. I sigh and Ashley looks at the walls too.
"Don't bother them. You're better than they know." She smirks and takes me away to our first class.

When we finally have break, I wanted to walk into the cafeteria but Ashley stops me.
"Are you sure you wanna go in there?" She asks.
"Yeah, I mean, I need to face him someday. Better now than later." I say while I see Caleb and Tom walking in our way.
"Caleb!" I say while I jump in his arms.
"Hey Sierra, didn't see you a lot this week." He says while he holds me tight.
"I was going through some stuff.." I smile when he nuzzles his face in my neck.
"Yeah, Madison told us all about it." He sighs dramatically while he lets me go.
I smile a little and we walk all together to a table. I see people are staring at me, but I just ignore it. I caught Madison's eye and she smirks. I just roll my eyes at her and turn my attention to Caleb.
"I can't stand her!" I whisper.
"Same. I think the whole school can't stand her." He smirks.
"Wouldn't surprise me." I sigh.
He smiles and puts an arm around my neck. We walk to the only free table left, close to Madison's. I can hear easily what they're saying. We take a seat and I'm facing the table where Madison and Ashton and their friends are sitting. I'm not feeling like eating something. I look over at Madison's table and see Luke staring at me. I playfully wink at him and turn my attention to Ashley.
"Who did you wink at?" She asks while she turns around to see who I gave a wink.
"at Luke." I say.
"Why?"
"He was staring at me."
"So?"
"Mike said that he does that often."
"Who's Mike?"
"Michael. The one with the colored hair."
"Oh that one."
Then I see that Michael stands up and asks to our table. He sits next to me.
"Hey." He says smiling.
"Uhh.. Hey." I say back, not really sure what the hell he's doing here.
"Watchuuu doooing?"
"I'm living." Try too, I added in my head.
"Cool."
"Mike, what are you doing here?"
"I can't stand Madison and all she's talking about is how you tried to rip off Ashtons clothes when she walked in."
I just roll my eyes. "It's still not surprising me."
"Yeah, but I still don't know why Ashtons isn't defending you?? What did happened? Because I don't think that was Madison is telling is true."
"I don't know, okay? I asked him why he reacted so weird and he said he fell for me. We started kissing and at first I tried to stop it, but I gave up. And then, three seconds later Madison walks in. She gets mad and runs away, the next thing I know is that Ashton is telling me to leave and he runs after Madison." I sigh after I told him.
Mike sighs to and puts and arm around me. I lay my head and his shoulder.
"It's going to be okay. We'll figure something out." He whispers.
Then the bell rings and we stand up. I walk to my class and smile when I see Luke. I sit down next to him.
"Hey." He smiles.
"Hey."
"So... You and Ashton...." He begins.
"Don't even get me started. What an asshole."
"Is it true? What Madison says.?"
"Well, I don't know exactly what Madison said, but knowing her, I know already that it's all a lie."

I thought about it to skip my last class, because it's history. I didn't tho. I just need to hope that we won't have to work on that project. I walk into class and take my seat besides Ashley.
"Sierra, you're late." She whispers.
"Not too late. I was just thinking if I should skip this class."
"But you didn't."
"Nope."
"Alright class. Because some of you still didn't start the project. You'll have time to start now. If I see that one of you doesn't work, it will need to be finished by the next lesson. Am I clear?" Mrs. Buckwald says.
No nononono. Not today, please please please. Don't let me work with him today, I think to myself. I sigh when I see that Ashley walks to Tom. Normally she would've smirked at me or something like that, but she didn't. She just gave me a sympathetic smile and walks away.
I see that Ashtons sighs too and he walks to me. I turn my attention to my book and begin to write some notes.
"Sierra... I just... I just wanted to say...... That I'm sorry." He says softly.
"At the moment, I don't give a fuck about what you think or say. Let's just finish this now so we won't have to work at each other's houses."
"But..."
"Ashton, Stop with that god damn whining! I don't care about you or any of your Devils. I'm done with this! First you act like I mean the world to you and suddenly you're running after Madison. I'm done with this act."
He just looks at me and I return my attention back to the books.
"I think I've got everything out this book, we should start looking things up on the Internet." I say not looking at him.
He just nods a little.

When the bell rings I quickly grab my bag and walk out of the classroom. I was about to go home when I see Luke. He smiles and me and I smile back.
"Hey." I say while I walk to him.
"Hey."
"So I was just wondering... Maybe you'd like to... Maybe come to my band practice some time...?" He asks.
I wanted to refuse but then I see the hopeless look in his eyes. He really wants to go out with me.
"Sure, when do you practice?" I ask him.
"Tomorrow."
"Okay, I'll be there. Or wait, I don't really know where that is so you could take me there?"
"Yeah, no problem." He smiles and I see relief in his eyes.
"Okay, well I see you tomorrow then." I smile while I give him a kiss on his cheek. I walk away and turn around to wave. I just can see how Ashton is looking at me. His shoulder leans against the wall and he doesn't look so happy.

I walk to Ashley and she asks what I was doing with Luke.
"Oh, I'm going to his band practice tomorrow." I smile.
"But then you need some new clothes. C'mon." She grabs my hand and we walk to the mall.
"Ashley that isn't necessary." I say.
"But you can make Ashton jealous. Make him regret for hurting you." She smirks.
"Well, let's go then." I smirk.

We shop the whole day and when I'm home I'm very satisfied with what I bought. I may be not into dresses, but this one was just stunning and it would totally amaze Ashton.

I smirk and suddenly, I can't wait for tomorrow.


~The next day~

So let's skip the morning and go right to when I have break.
I sit with my friends at a table when Luke walks to us.
"You're still coming right?" He smirks.
"Yup. I only need to change after school, do you mind walking with me?" I ask.
I didn't dare it to wear it to school. What if it got dirty?
"No, I don't mind." He smiles.
"Okay." I return the smile.

So after school Luke and I walk to my house. When we walk in I say.
"The bathroom is over there and the kitchen there, if you're hungry. I'll be back in a minute so we can go." I smile to him while I walk upstairs. I put on my dress and a necklace. I put on a light layer of golden eyeshadow and mascara.. And Some lipgloss. Then I walk back downstairs.
"Wow." Luke breathes.
"I'm ready, can we go?" I smile.
"Sure. You look beautiful." He says while we walk outside.
"Is it far?"
"What?"
"To the place where you practise?"
"Well, this time it's at Ashtons but I really don't know the way from here.... Maybe we could better walk back to the school."
"Oh, at Ashtons. I know where that is. C'mon."
We walk together to Ashtons when suddenly Luke grabs my hand. I begin to blush a little.
He smiles shyly while we walk.

When we reach Ashtons house, he lets go to open the door. We walk in and see that the rest is here. When they notice us Mikes mouth falls open. I see that Ashton is looking at me too. Slowly licking his lips as his eyes go over my body. Calum just stares from Luke to me and back to Luke.
"Hey guys, you're ready?" Luke says.
"Yeah, but what is she doing here?" Ashton asks while he looks at Luke.
"She has a name and I invited her. Does she bother you?" Luke says.
"She certainly doesn't bother me." Michael laughs and I give him a playful wink.
"I'm getting something to drink, do you want something?" I ask. They all shake their heads.
"Nah, you get something for yourself babe." Luke says looking at me.
"Babe? I wanna hear that from you a lot more often." I smirk while I pull him close.
"Oh, get a room you two." Calum says and I let Luke go.
I walk to the kitchen and search for something to drink. When I turn around Ashton stands behind me.
"Ashton, stop scaring me." I say while I try to walk around him.
"Not so fast." He says pulling me back in place.
"What is your problem Ash?!"
"Why did Luke invited you here?"
"Because he wants to."
"And what was that with the 'babe' thing?"
"Ashton, I don't owe you an explanation! We're not together! You are with Madison, remember? And if I wanna date Luke, then I do that."
For a second he just stares at me. Then he pulls me close and pushes his lips onto mine.
It felt good, but I push back.
"We can't, I can't. Not now, with Luke."
"Sierra..."
"No. I won't do this all over again!"
"You don't need to. I promise you, it will be different."
"Just leave me alone."

I walk back to Luke and enjoy their band practice.

When they're done, I wanted to go home with Luke but Ashton stops me.
"We need to work on the project." He explains to Luke.
I was about to protest but Ashton shuts the door in Luke's face.
"What the hell are you trying to do?!" I say.
He doesn't say anything but he just pulls me close and kisses me.
"Ashton, what did I told you? I'm fucking done with this!!" I say when I pull back.
"Well, I'm not."
I sigh and walk around him to the kitchen to grab my coat. When I wanted to walk back Ashton stands behind me. He lifts me up and puts me on the counter. He kisses me again and before I realized I had my hands on his neck pulling him closer......
