In a few minutes, I'm off to sleep

I wake up because sunlight is shining in my face. I slowly open my eyes and look around. I slept with Ashton. Not in the wrong way... Just as 'friends'. I sigh, why can't I just be mad at him like I would be at everyone else. I don't see Ashton anywhere and look at the time. It's 10:15. School!

I jump out of bed and run downstairs. I run to the kitchen but stop when I see Ashton. I carefully look into the kitchen and see that he's making breakfast for me. Awh.. That's so cute.
Again, his muscles are getting most of my attention. Can't he just wear a shirt? I smile a little and tiptoe back to Ashtons room. I lay back in the bed and pretend to sleep.

It doesn't take long before I hear the door open. I hear him put the breakfast on the night stander and he gently shakes my arm.
"Sierra.." I hear him whisper and I slowly open my eyes.
"Goodmorning." He smiles.
"Morning."
"I've made breakfast for you." He points at the breakfast but keeps looking at me.
"Awh, Ashton, that's so sweet." I say while I sit up.
Togther we eat the breakfast on his bed.
"Ashton, am I skipping school? What about the project?"
"No, I said to your mum that you didn't felt good last night so you stayed over and that you wouldn't go to school today. I went to school and gave Mrs. Buckwald the project, after that I went home."
"Okay."

We ate the rest in silence and after that, we went downstairs. I check my phone and I see that I have some unread messages from Luke. Guiltiness washes over me and I open his texts.

Luke: hey babe :). You aren't at school.. Is something wrong? Are you sick? Should I come over?
Luke: I know that when you're sick you shouldn't be on your phone, but please, answer me back ASAP. I'm worried about you.:(
Me: I'm okay, just not feeling well :). Nothing to worry about, babe ;). Maybe you could come over after school? I'm just going to lay down for a hour. I love y-

Ashton grabs my phone and smirks.
"So let's see with who you're so busy." He smirks.
He looks at the screen and his smile faded. I saw jealousy in his eyes, but also.... Hurt?
"So you love him?" He asks still looking at the text I was about to send.
"Oh c'mon. That's just something regular I write."
"You never wrote it to me."
"Because you are with Madison."
"Because I was afraid of..."
"Of what? Of me? Of my flaws? Am I not perfect enough for Ashton Irwin?" I suddenly got mad again. Especially when I pictured him and Madison.
"No, I was afraid that my flaws would scare you away."
He looks at me.
I stare at him in silence.
"You really thought that because of your scars, I would run away?"
He just nods his head and I take his hand.
"I would never do that." I say locking eyes with him.
"I know."
"Good."
"Maybe you should rewrite the message." He says handing me my phone back.
"I think I should. But I can't break up with him over a message, I'll go to school when it's out." I say while I erase the 'I love you' part. I send the message and the look at Ashton.
"You need to promise me one thing." I say.
"What?"
"That you won't run back to Madison. Never."
"I promise."
"Thanks."
"anything for you."
"I think I should go and Change into my clothes." I say while I stand up and walk upstairs.


When I'm dressed I walk downstairs and see that Ashton is still sitting on the couch.
I walk to him and he looks up and smiles at me. I smile back.
"I better go and change in something clean at home. I'll be right back, okay?"
"Sierra, you're house is far from here. Come, I'll walk you." He says while he stands up and walks to me.
"C'mon, I'll drive you." He puts an arm around me and we walk to his car.
