NEIGHBOURS

"Bridget honey, wake up" I feel someone annoying me first thing in the morning.
"Come on you have to be at the pool in an hour." Dad reminds me.

I moan and get up.

The local pool I go for my rehab it's my fifth session and already I am sick of it. But I keep my faith and determination and keep going.

while dad and Paraker are on the sidelines watching me.

"Doing well Bridget" Dad yells out like the proud dad he is.
"Good job loser" Hmm proud brother.



I finish from my session and put my clothes on top of my bathers and get up slowly.

"Thanks" i take it.
"I saw you in the water before, you are doing really well" He compliments me
"Thanks" I smile.
"So what's your story.?" He asks me. "Car accident you?"
"Motorcycle."
"I'm sorry" I empathy for him.

"Eh you can't change the past, Were still alive that's what matters." I love his optimism.

"Sorry, I'm Luke." He extends his hand and I shake his hand. "Bridget"
"Well I'll see you around Bridget." He wheels away and I smile.

"ready to go" dad sees me and I nod.


"Bridget come over in ten" Louis yells over as I get out of the car. "Ok" I yell back.


"Hey honey how was it?" Mum asks we walk in the front door.
"you should of seen she is improving every minute" dad says

and I walk over to Louis', I knock on the door.

"It's open" they yell out. So I go straight in.

"You know I could have been a thief about steal all your valuables"

I freeze


Why is harry here?

"Lucky you're not." Liam says as he and the boys play the x box.

I see El and she pats the spot next to her.

"WHOOOOO" Louis sits next to me and El and they make out.

"My god are you going to gasp for air?" Niall says, they break apart for a minute then back at it.

"Im going to get some air" I stand up and leave to the backyard.


"Hey" I turn around what does he want?
"Hi" i play nice and smile to Harry.

"So how you been?
"Fine" I don't really want to speak to him but whatever.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.

Hey it's Luke, I got your number from the clinic, hope you don't mind. You free in an hour?

"You ok?" Harry aks. I look up from my phone "huh yea."
"Look I gotta go sorry." I say



"Hey" I slowly sit down and have decided to meet Luke at the store.
"Hey" he smiles.

"So hows your rehab really going?" He asks me.

"The truth is"

Of course I see Harry walk in with his brother hmm they must be getting along, I shake off my thoughts.

"I'm thinking of quitting." I get back to our conversation.

"Um why?" Luke asks.

"I just, I'm sick of it all. I'm just so frustrated." I truthfully admit.

"But you do have the chance to walk again why would you throw it all away?" He seems annoyed. "Then there's me" He looks up and down himself. "I never ever have the chance to walk again. You being selfish." He says and wheels away and to top it off Harry is looking at me.


Harry's POV:

I walk in the store and see Bridget she sees me but immediately turns away. I then see her sitting with some other guy.

The day she told me she could't stand looking at me anymore was the worst, but I know I have myself to blame. If I could back I would change my mind and outlook on the whole situation.

She is going through so much and it pains me that I'm not beside her supporting her.I sit down and see them talking this guy is in a wheelchair poor guy but that's one advantaged he has on me, they are experiencing the same thing as each other.

But then I see him wheel away and I look over to her and she has head down.

"Wonder what that was about?" Declan says i just shrug my shoulders.

"I'm going to get going" I say and try to catch up to her. I leave the store and walk a bit and search for her but nothing.

So I just sit at the park and sing a little.

Never felt like this before

I guess I won't ever know if we are friends or if Bridget and I are more. But I have changed my mind, but I won't know if she has or not.



"STYLES PULL YOUR HEAD IN!" Coach yells. I have been so off my game lately.

"Harry you haven't been consistent lately whats going on?" Steve Bridget's dad which you know is just great (note sarcasm) he is the new coach.

"Yea just been bit tired" I lie, I can't really say I'm in love with your daughter and I hurt her yet again.

"Ok well wash up, and get ready for class" He warns
"yes coach" I run off the field.


I get to my locker which is near Bridget's and I take out the Cd titled 'MY SORRY SONGS'
I made for her and stick it on her locker. I the see her and Perrie coming so I return to my locker, I hear them chat and my heart breaks a bit she is talking about that guy whose name I now learn is Luke.



She then sees the Cd "OH GOD" She yells out not the reaction I hoped.
"Aw that's so cute" At least Perrie thinks it's thoughtful. "My sorry songs H I mean come on" i hear her say.

"SAY IT TO THE RUBBISH HARRY" she slams it in the bin , I race over and take it out.



It's now after lunch, during lunch I put the Cd back she needs to hear it, I wrote and sang a song just for her.

"Mate look what I found in the bin?" Louis comes up to me with the Cd.

"Great" I roll my eyes. "Yea it's got all the classics on her like can I be your doormat and sorry I was such a loser towards you."
I sarcastically laugh at him. Then I see Bridget coming I snatch the Cd from Lou and go up to her.

"Look you were right about everything, I am sorry and I am sorry. Again" I say nervously.
"Well what are you sorry for. You had your chance and you blew it." She looks in my eyes and then walks away .


Bridget's POV:

"Who does he thing he is messing with my mind" I say to the girls as we are at our lockers getting prepared for next class.

"Oh come on it's a bit romantic" El says.
"no, not being repulsed about kissing me is romantic," I see the Cd again and pick to up. "This is being a stalker" i hold it up.

"It's a bit cute" Sophia says.

"He is being bipolar" I say referring to the Cd. Perrie takes the cd as i gather my books. We all head into the classroom.

Yet again I out the cd in the bin

"Besides I know what is wrong" I pull up my walking stick.

"I'm sure that's not true" El puts her head on my shoulder.

"Besides I'm meeting Luke after school" I say after him wheeling out I apologised and he actually convinced me to go back to rehab.



"Please, please" I roll my eyes at Harry's pestering.

"You need to listen to this, please tracks four and five. So you can make up you're mind."

Is he confused or something?

"Make my mind up about what" I confusingly ask.

He puts his hand behind my neck and kisses me.

He kisses me, wait am I kissing back. No so I pull away. I look deep in his eyes
"I've met some one" It's semi true.

"So drop him" Harry says.




"Come on you need to listen to this"

All the girls haven't stopped bugging me about he kissed me. It was a spare of moment thing for sure.

"Ok I'm playing track four." Perrie puts the Cd in the player.

We all sit on the couch. The song starts wait I had no idea he could even sing.

He can sing very well.

I keep playing it inside my head
