Priceless

I woke up a little after dark, sleepy eyed I squinted into the dark my eyes adjusting when finally got fully awake I decided to have a late night snack since i'd fallen asleep during what was suppose to be dinner time.

Making my way out of my bunk and quietly moving to the kitchen area on the bus I opened the cabinet to see cookies i'd hidden from Niall he was always eating my stuff that i got, I pulled out a glass and poured milk just as I was about to turn around I heard a deep voice behind me.

"Want me to make you something to eat Jessie?"

I turned to face Harry whose face was shadowed by the dark

"No thank you Harry i'm ok"

"Jessie I wanted to apologize for earlier I was out of line and i just went into protective mode"

I picked up my glass and cookies and went to sit on the couch putting my glass down I looked up to him now sitting beside me his face looking downward at his feet his hands pressed together and his jawline squared.

"Harry you don't have to protect me, i'm not a child I've learned to take care of myself"

"Jess it is my job to keep you safe both your heart and you physically, the fact I told him to keep his hands off and not to think about it just shows he didn't listen to a Damn thing I said"

"Harry I do like Louis ok? I wouldn't say Love because that would be pushing it but if I like him please let me give him a chance Harry...Please"

He sighed deeply and leaned his head backwards I knew he meant well but I wasn't lying I did like Louis just because I was Harry's cousin didn't mean I was to be protected from his band mates.

"Fine Jessie but I swear if he hurts you then I will have some words with him and or a punch to the face"

I smiled like a child just given a praise and found myself leaping off the seat i was in and into Harry hugging him knowing he was smiling to himself happy to see me happy.

I picked up on that about Harry, When I was upset he got a crease in his forehead and i knew he was trying to figure out how to make me smile or happy and when i was happy he was pleased but he always caught onto my moods before I would say anything.

I picked up one of my cookies and was about to eat it when Harry snatched it out of my hand and ate it smirking as I sat there flabbergasted with wide eyes and my mouth partially opened, "Styles you owe me a cookie now"

He laughed as he got up and made his way back to his bunk

"Sure i'll buy you a whole truck load if you want"

"Sold you just became my favorite cousin" I said laughing as I finished up my milk and cookies tired again I made my way to my bunk and laid back down feeling better than I did before I woke up.
