Priceless

Do you ever have those moments where you feel so alone even though your surrounded by a sea of people you try to be happy and you even where a smile so they won't see how hurt and broken you feel on the inside?
That is me everyday, My names Jessie i'm a 18 year old who has no bright future or has ever thought about it. I have one best friend which is the one I tell everything too my dad has raised me from birth because mum died giving birth.

I have always been that quiet and shy one you know the one in the back of the class that doesn't talk looks sad and minds her own business, the one that the preppy girls look down upon for my well lack of style in clothes, black black and more black oh and one gray shirt. I don't get expensive clothes or shoes or handbags, I don't have the latest iphone or laptop I have nothing same for my life I have nothing going for me.

I love my dad but he's picked up on a alcohol habit that makes him lash out on anyone near him so I tend to just stay in my room a lot of times and listen to music. Of course my best friend Autumn coming over for hangout time before dinner time helped out a little bit.

Autumn is like my sister i tell her everything and she does the same. She is always talking about this one boy band called One Direction which kinda gets on my nerves...every single time...
"OMG JESSIE THEY WENT TO LUNCH" or

"JESSIE JESSIE JESSIE NIALL LIKED MY PICTURE"

followed by hysterical screaming so when she came to me that day after school I was not surprised at all what came out of her mouth.

"Jessie how much do you love me?"

"C'mon Autumn you know I'd do anything for you"

Her face lit up like a little kid opening presents on Christmas day

"Jessie anything like if I asked you something you'd totally go along with it and do it?"

I thought for a min. then looked at her

"Well within reason that is"

"Well what if I told you my parents got me tickets t...."

Before she could say the rest I had interrupted her excited/ on the verge of a fan girl moment.

"Whoa Whoa Whoa I said within reason"

"Jessie pleaseeeeeeee they got two tickets and you know your the only friend I truly have!!!! My dad won't even go with me or my mum!!! PLEASEEEE"

I rolled my eyes and stood up and grumbled to myself already regretting the words I was about to say to her.

"Fine I will go but you owe me big time for this one!"

she jumps up out of her seat right onto me knocking us both back onto my bed and hugging me tightly.

"Oh thank you thank you thank you so much for this Jessie I love you!!!"

I grumbled to her and moved my way out from underneath her and stood up to go to my closet looking for clothes to wear tomorrow as I did so I turned back towards her and spoke up.

"So when is this concert exactly?"

she stopped biting her nails for a moment and smiled happily

"You won't believe it its in three weeks!!!"

"THREE WEEKS THAT CLOSE"

she grinned from ear to ear and got her worried look on her face and turned to me.

"I should warn you first though"

"What?"

"well there front row seats..."

"Autumn now your pushing your luck"

"Andddd kinda sorta back stage passes too"

she ran and got under my blanket knowing I was about to flip out

"AUTUMN YOU MEAN TO TELL ME I HAVE TO MEET THEM AND I DON'T
EVEN LIKE THEIR MUSIC NOR DO I LIKE THEM AS GUYS!!!"

"well please still go pleaseeeee"

I sighed loudly and she grinned knowing she had won me over this time

"you are now in debt to me for you entire rest of your life"

"I'll take it!!"

she screamed and laughed

"hey its getting late Jess I gotta get home before I am grounded see you tomorrow"

"Ok see you then"

She hugged me tightly and grabbed her things as she skipped happily out of the door leaving me feeling lonely once again. I didn't understand how someone could go from happy to sad in less then five mins, Apparently I was the only one who did though...Lucky me"
