I walked through the airport exit and felt someone stare at me.

Calm down Paige, it's just New York. There will always be a creep or two.

I kept walking. Before I reached the cab, I was stopped by the cutest boy I have ever seen.

"Hi." He said.

Perfect, he's Australian. Why does he have to be attractive. I can NOT get distracted.

I smiled with my lips closed.

"Hi."

"What brought you to New York?"

"I don't know, what brought a boy like you to New York?"

He put his fist on his heart dramatically as an act of pain.

"Let me guess," he said "you came to New York to accomplish your lifetime goals."

"More like dreams. How'd you know?"

"You don't look like your from here."

"Hmm." I nodded my head. "I guess wearing ripped shorts and cowboy boots gives it away."

He chuckled. "Yeah. You wanna go out for coffee?"

"No, I think I'm good. I have a long ways to go anyway."

He nodded.

"At least take my number." He handed me a price of paper and I took it. "Give me a call."

"Maybe." I got into the cab.

No way in he'll I'm getting involved in a relationship.
