"Cal... Baby don't stop." I moan.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck." He continues cursing as he thrusts into me. We both cum and he falls over next to me. I look over at him and he's actually Ashton all of a sudden. Um. No.

"I love you, Adria." He says sweetly. Um. No.

"I love Calum." I say.

I wake up from my nightmare, completely terrified of EVERYTHING that went down in there. I had sex with Calum, Ashton told me he loved me, and I said I loved Calum?! AND CALUM AND I HAD F-ING SEX?! I mean I guess it was just my brain thinking about the past three days, and how we flirt with each other like it's a game or something, but I do NOT love CALUM. Ugh, oh my god, I need water.

I walk into the kitchen to see Alex at the table with a flashlight, reading a book. She has a new huge gash in her lip.

"Hey Alex." I whisper. She looks up and smiles, going back to reading her book. I really need that awful dream out of my mind though. "What's with the lip?" I ask.

"Oh, I got into a fight with some guy at school." She shrugs. I give her a high five.

"I didn't know you like to read." I say. She shrugs again.

"I do at night time, when everything is quiet." I finish drinking water.

"Okay, well I'll leave you to it, night!" I say and she returns it.

I walk back up to my bedroom, and see the phone I haven't used since middle school on my desk. Why. Why am I so stupid. I grab the phone quickly, like somebody is watching, and lye down on my bed. Tons of pictures of Calum. Jeez, I really liked him back then. As a friend. Here comes the stupid part. I call him.

"Adria?"

"Hey." I say, I feel myself biting my lip and I immediately stop.

"Uhm, hey, why are you calling me? We're kind of, you know, enemies that want to kill each other?" He laughs. I smile. I miss being friends with him though.

"Are you busy?" I hear myself ask. What am I DOING?!

"Oh no, sleep isn't important." He teases. I smile again.

"Okay. Wanna do something?" I ask.

"At three in the morning?"

"Uh huh."

He pauses with hesitation. "Sure." He hangs up and I still there for a moment. Huh. Oh crap, he's going to show up here. I should probably have real clothes on. I throw on black, skin tight skinny jeans, as usual, black combat boots, and a black band t that is cut all the way down the sides, so you can see the whole side of my torso, and a black bra. What I like black, deal with it.

He texts me he's outside ten minutes later, and I walk out, closing the door as quietly as I possibly can, since Alex is awake. I walk over to him.

"Hey." I say.

"You have a knife?" He asks. I nod.

"Duh, I'm not stupid."

"Oh no, I know you aren't." He says as we get in the car. I blush for a second before I shoo it away. "So where do you wanna go?" Calum asks. I shrug, he laughs, and he starts the car.

"Where are we going?"

"Oh, now it suddenly matters? You're fine." He says.

"I'm gonna hold you to that." I say, looking out the window, which is basically pointless since it's pitch black outside. When he stops the car, I get out.

"So... Where are we?" I ask looking around in a black hole.

"Listen." He whispers, covering my eyes with his hands. I hear waves. "We're at the beach." He says. I smile and start walking.

"So are we just going to ignore it or something?" He asks, walking next to me.

"Ignore what?" I lie, I know what he's talking about.

"We're not supposed to even talk to each other. I'm the leader of the Shadows, and my enemy is your older brother. We can't do stuff like this. It's the rules." Calum says. I roll my eyes.

"Fuck the rules." I say, looking at him. "I'll leave it up to you. Never see me again unless we're trying to hurt each other, or risk everything and go for it?"
