"So this is the large living room, there's lots of space and the kitchen is joined to the side..." I zoned out, not caring what the realist says.

I turned on my heels, softly walking away and I trailed my feet upstairs looking through the rooms. They were big, really big, which is great so there's more room for more guitars and my piano.

I opened the door at the end of hall, to be welcomed in a cozy room, damn this carpet's really soft. I dug my toes into the black fluffy carpet, admiring the feel. I looked around properly to see 2 windows, one the size of the wall that has a door and I believes leads out to a balcony. Then a smaller one, that would be where I would play my guitar. I walked over to the small window and rested my elbows on the windowsill. I looked out to see another window that was the same as mine, but I couldn't see in due to black curtains blocking my view, I wonder who lives there. I smiled to myself as I backed away from the window and looked around, I like this room.

"Calum, where are you?!" I heard mum yell from downstairs.

"I'm upstairs, hang on I'm coming!" I say back and walk downstairs to see everyone in the kitchen.

"Do you like it?" She asks smiling at me.

"Yeah it's nice, I like the rooms, it's a big area," I reply, returning the smile.

"Okay we'll take it then," mum said to the realist.

The lady gave mum some paper work and told her that the files should process within a few days, then we can move in as soon as possible. We all smiled and exchanged handshakes and 'thank you's with the lady. I stuffed my hands in my pockets and we walked out discussing plans to design the house. I saw a black car pull up at the driveway next door to see a girl with black hair that looked my age get out and lock her car. She glanced over at us and smiled, I smiled back. She looked away still smiling and walked up to her front door to go inside.

"Calum!" Mali said snapping me from my stare.

"What"

"Get in the car, we have to go" I didn't even realise that mum and Mali were already sitting in the car trying not to laugh at me.

"Sorry" I said blushing and got in the back seat.

"Geez Cal, we just got here and you already like someone," Mali laughs.

"Shut up, I was just being nice," I said as mum was pulling out of the driveway to go back to my grandparents house.
