There was so much fucking tension in the car, you could cut it with a knife.

I'd glance at her every few seconds and when she'd look back at me she would just scowl or roll her eyes or say "Keep your damn eyes on the road".
She looked so fucking gorgeous when she was mad, like she was about to punch me but she didn't want to, that look... it drove me crazy, I didn't know whether she even liked me or not.

To be honest I wanted to be close to the baby...but mainly her too, I don't even know if I have or ever will have a shot with this girl, she was independent and that made me insecure about the kind of person I was; I'm always so confident and know I could get a girl with my fucking eyes and mouth shut but this girl I couldn't get; not unless she was extremely drunk and with the baby on the way she wouldn't drink even a drop of alchohol.

We got to the hospital and walked in.
"Excuse me" Sarah went up to the desk; the nurse that was there seemed to be so young and dumb, she totally ignored Sarah while she was on the phone talking to someone about her weekend.
Sarah went up to me, in defeat, and sighed
"This whore wouldn't turn around even if I had a brand new iPhone and a a hot shirtless man in front of her" she said in anger.
"Allow me" I smirked and went up to the desk
"Excuse me miss" I flashed the best smile I could; she looked up and her jaw dropped.
"Yeah, Lacey, I gotta go" she said and hung her phone up.
"Umm yes sir, umm Mr. Malik, what can I do for you? Do you have an appointment?" she flashed me a toothy grin.
"Actually yes, my uh cousin, is here for an appoinment with Doctor Gomez about her uhh"
I looked at her for help
"My ultrasound" she said, smiling at the nurse.
"Oh of course, you'll be in right away, for now you may just take a seat" she smiled and winked at me.
"Player" Sarah muttered at me but I could see the little smile curling up at the edges of her mouth "And why did you say I was your cousin?" She smiled
"Well, if I would've said girlfriend or wife I would've lost the attention and it with that big mouth of hers I bet she would've posted or said something to someone " I smiled back at her
"Please, you wouldn't lose the attention even if you were gay" she laughed
"Oh really" I smiled mockingly "And why is that?" I asked
"Don't push your luck, Malik" she smirked; an older woman who had been staring at us for a while smiled and said "My my, what a lovely couple, it's so sweet that you can be good friends besides lovers" Sarah instantly turned red and started to stutter "we- umm we're not"
"we aren't a couple, but thank you" I smiled at her and she immediatly apologized and we both accepted.

"Hi beautiful" ugh... John arrived and gave Sarah a kiss, then he gave her a butterfly kiss and held her for a while. Gag.
"How do you feel?" he asked with a big smile on his face "I feel fine my love" she kissed him and held her tummy.
"Mr. Malik" the nurse called me "the doctor is ready for you" she said

John and I both grabbed Sarah at the same time to accompany her
"Excuse me, only close family or the husband can go in with her" the nurse said
Sarah looked at us both and smiled at John; in that moment I knew I should better sit my ass down because that meant I was gonna be sitting in the waiting room.

A while passed and I was still sitting, waiting for them both to come out, I felt awkward, just sitting there, on my phone, waiting for the time to pass until they'd both come out.

When they finally did I got up and asked "How did it go? is the baby healthy?" Sarah smiled and held her tummy "Well she or he is very very healthy" she said
"Seven more months and she'll be out" John rubbed Sarah's tummy as if the child was his.
"She?" I asked
"Oh, it's just a hunch" He said
"Well whatever it is we should start thinking of names for it" I said.
We left the hospital and discussed the names

"Well I, for one, want to name ir Zayn if it's a boy" I said
John and Sarah groaned "We aren't naming my baby Zayn" Sarah rolled her eyes
"Fine" I huffed
"Well... for a girl I've always like Teresa and for a boy hmm Noah" John said, thinking it over in his head.
"Yeah" Sarah smiled, "I like those names for our baby" she smiled lovingly at him

Ouch.
It's my baby mostly, I mean, if it weren't for me she wouldn't have gotten pregnant.

"Fine" I sighed "I'll see you guys for the next appointment then?" I assked, clearly irritated.
"Sure, fine by us" Sarah smiled
"See you next month then" I said
"See ya" She smiled at me in a warm way and I watched them as they left together... like a family...

All of a sudden my phone rang and inturrupted my thought.
"Hello?" I answered
"Zayn?" I heard a female voice on the other end.
"Yeah, who's this?" I asked
"It's Gigi" she said " we need to talk"
Fuck.
"About?..."
The other end was silent for a second, then she sighed
"Zayn, I want you back" She said.
