'If you want your daughter... safe and sound then give us the damn money!' I yelled on the phone we stole from that guy (Roy). It was hard to find the right person on his phone's contacts to ask for money but we somehow figured it out.

'Please leave my daughter alone...I'll give you...I'll give you anything you want', a woman, who I suppose was the girl's mother, pleaded on the phone.

'You've got two days to arrange 3 million dollars and ... after that I'll inform you the location where you'll get your...da..daughter' I snapped.


I was too scared and frightened that I could hear my shivering voice on the phone. It's not we've been kidnapping a lot of girls or something... that's our first time and I hope last time! That's why I didn't really know how to speak like a kidnapper.

'I...is my daughter okay?' the woman cried. 'If you really care about your girl then arrange the money quickly!! And yeah, don't you dare call the police!!' I yelled before hanging up. That went good, right?

'So?' Harry, who was sitting right in front of me, asked. I turned my head to him and furrowed my brows, 'What did she say??' he said. 'Well apart from all the crying and pleading, she didn't really say anything!' I smirked. 'So what's gonna happen now? Is she gonna give us the money or not?' Niall asked.

'Ummm yeah ... I guess. I have threatened her!' I said and looked down at the fire.

'Are you kidding me, Louis?' Harry snapped as he got up from the chair, ' I knew it.. I just knew it! I could have done it better than you! I guess? Are you fucking kidding me?' he yelled again making me get up from my place, 'What is the matter with you, Harold? If you think you're so smart and... and evil and intelligent, you could have done it yourself, asshole!' I yelled back.

'Heck yeah! I could have done it in the best possible way!' he snapped and took a step towards me, 'you know what Tomlinson, you're falling for that girl!' he whispered.

'What? What the fuck are you saying, man? I'm ...I'm not' I yelled on his face.

'Lou, we're not jerks! You are being a sympathetic bitch for her! he snapped.

'Enough, styles!' I yelled, 'just stop it already! You know why I'm so good to her? Because I... I don't want to be like you! A bitch who hits women!' i said and saw the guilt in his eyes, it pained me a lot to say those words to my best friend but Harry... he has changed a lot. He was such a good man before-

'Harry, she's escaping again!' Niall yelled from the back making me turn to the house where we left her. She was running towards the back of the house.

We ran to her as quickly as possible. She was fast but not faster enough! Her hair blowed with the breeze as she ran. Niall got hold her, she screamed and screamed but he didn't let go. I let out a few exasperated grunts and looked at Harry who was damn furious. Oh no, he's gonna hit her AGAIN!

He took a step towards her, making her close her eyes. I can't watch this! She was breathing heavily and tears were running down her cheek.

'You know what?' Harry smirked, 'go on'. She opened her eyes, shocked just like me and Niall. 'Harry what are you-'

'Just let her go' he yelled, cutting Niall. Niall let go off her hands one by one, she looked at Harry with utter surprise but Harry looked down. She looked at me with the same expression before running away. What the hell?

What had just happened? I couldn't believe my eyes that I was running!
I'm really escaping! I felt myself screaming from the inside as I told myself to run. Forget everything that happened, just run.

I looked back while running and saw no one following me. So I guess this is it! I'm finally free.
I ran fast, faster than I have ever ran before. Almost there.
I'm too far from those assholes now, for sure but... where am I?

I've been running for like an hour now. There's nothing around, just sand on the floor and some trees aside. Oh my god! where the heck am I?

I kept running but there was nothing I could see... nothing. I fell on my knees and wept like a child! I'm lost.

I could feel the cold tears on my face as I let out few sighs.
I cried out loud, shouted, screamed, ran to find something but no! No one, nothing, no anything! I screamed out loud as I felt cold wind of the night hit me.

The thought of being alone, with nothing, in the cold night was scaring me to death. I remembered everyone I loved or who loved me.

I remembered my father falling on the ground in front of my very eyes, I remembered me wishing that I never see my mother again and I remembered the terrible noise of Roy getting shot. I screamed again, scared and frightened but no...there was nowhere to go.

'I still can't believe, we just let her go' Niall mumbled.

We were looking at that way where she ran off to except Harry who was looking down. No one knew what was going on.

All of a sudden, we saw someone running towards us from that way. I got up from where I was sitting and marched towards it. I realized it was... her! She was coming back!

I took a step back and rubbed my eyes still not believing what I saw. Harry got up too but just stood there. She was running and crying at the same time.

She got nearer and nearer as she rushed to Harry and hugged him tightly, still crying. 'I'm not gonna leave now... I will not try to escape now', she pleaded as more tears fell down from her eyes.

Harry angrily threw her on the ground and marched out. 'I'll go get some water', Niall said before running towards the house and leaving me alone with her. She was still crying but had covered her face.

I got in the ground with her and tried to get her up. She quickly collapsed onto and hugged me tightly. I was surprised but still hugged her back, my hands firmly on her waist and her face on my chest. 'It's okay... its okay', I mumbled.


'Scream!
My words are failing me,
When did we become so numb?"
