Chapter 21
Niall’s POV:
“That’s the other thing I wanted to talk to you about.” She said nervously. The moment she said that I was nervous.
“What do you mean?” I asked, knitting my eyebrows together.
“JULIA!” I heard Christa come up the stairs, and Julia flashed her beautiful smile at Christa when she came into the room. “Oh, am I interrupting something?” She asked, smirking. I just laughed while Julia threw a pillow at her.
“No, we were just talking.” Julia shrugged.
“Talking. Sure.” Christa winked, but Jules just rolled her eyes. I saw Zayn come up from behind Christa and motion for me to go over to him.
“Um, we’ll talk later, okay?” Julia said, biting the inside of her cheek.
“Okay. I have rehearsals, so see you later babe.” I said, walking over to her and planting a sweet and gentle kiss on her lips.
Julia’s POV:
“What were you guys talking about?” She asked sitting at the edge of my bed.
“I was just telling him about the whole modeling and California stuff.” I shrugged my shoulders.
“Oh, okay. Well look what came in the mail!” She said, loudly. She handed me an envelope with my name addressed on it. When I looked at who the letter was from, my eyes widened. It was from Stanford University. “Open it!” She encouraged me. I took a deep breath and opened the letter. I unfolded the single piece of paper and read the letter.
“Christa…I didn’t get in…” I said, hiding my face with the paper.
“Jules I’m---“ Before she could say another word I cut her off, smiling.
“KIDDING!” I said, standing up on my bed, jumping. “I GOT INTO STANFORD!” Christa screamed in excitement and I joined her. She started jumping up and down with me.
“You’re mom would be so proud of you.” She finally said, once we sat back down.
“I’m going to be going to the same college as my mum did…” I smiled, thinking of her. I missed her so much…
“I’m so happy for you, Jules!” Christa hugged me tightly, and I hugged back. “Do you know what this means?” She asked, letting go of me.
“WE’RE GOING TO BE ROOMMATES!” I yelled again, and we both screamed in excitement once again. Christa had gotten her acceptance letter a week before she came to visit, and I was so happy for her. I was also happy that I would be going to college with my cousin/best friend.
“What are you going to tell Niall? Even if you don’t get the modeling job, which I know you will, you’ll still be moving to California.” Christa said, sighing. “I still have to tell Zayn. What are we going to do?”
“You still haven’t told him? Chrissy, you got accepted before you came here.” I knitted my eyebrows together.
“Yeah, but it’s not like I live here. I was going to have to leave anyways.” She shrugged. She had a point. But we still had to tell them. I’m not sure when, though. Christa didn’t leave until the summer, which was a good thing because we would be leaving together. She already had enough credit to go to college, so she was let out of school early.
“Well why don’t we just tell them all at the same time?” I asked, biting my lip. The fact that Niall and I would be miles and miles apart broke my heart. Even though we just got into a relationship, I still cared for him. I’ve cared since the first day.
“Like over dinner?” She asked. I nodded my head.
“I suppose so. When should we do it?”
“Tonight. You still have three weeks of school left. Plus you still have prom. It would be better to tell them sooner than later.” Christa did have a point.
“Yeah, you’re right. I’ll text Niall and tell him.” I sighed. This was going to be hard. Right as we get into a relationship, I’ll have to leave in a couple weeks…

Niall’s POV:
The lads and I were asked by Christa and Jules to go out to dinner tonight. They said they had something to tell us. I was nervous, but I figured it was just about the modeling thing. As much as I want her to do it, I also want her to stay here. As soon as we got into this relationship, it feels like she’s just leaving.
“Hey.” Julia said as she opened the door to her house. Christa stood behind her, smiling.
“Wow you look amazing.” I commented, giving Julia a kiss on the cheek.

“As do you.” She replied smiling back at me.

When we were finished eating, the waiter took away our plates and we sat there looking at the two girls.
“So what did you want to tell us?” Louis asked, taking a sip of his water. We saw Jules and Christa look at each other then at each of us.
“I got into Stanford.” Julia said, looking at me.
“Well that’s great!” I said, kissing her temple.
“Which means I’m moving to California in four weeks…” she finished. At that point, Louis had spit out his water on the table, and Liam rolled his eyes, cleaning it up.
“Oh…” I muttered. It was silent for a few minutes.
“I’m sorry you guys…” She said, sighing.
“Don’t be sorry. Of course we’ll miss you, but this is a great opportunity. Plus, we can Skype and all of that stuff.” Liam said, trying to stay positive.
“We just have to make this the best four weeks, right?” Christa said, siding with Liam and staying positive.
“Yeah, of course.” Louis said smiling. I hadn’t said anything. I just sat there, thinking about everything. She only had three weeks left of school, then one more week left in London. Then she was gone…
