Hey You.....

"Hey Demi, we need to tell you something....."

"Hey, mum, what's up?" I say a little confused.
"Demi, because your grades are high enough and because Luke Hemmings almost begged us, We decided that....."
"What did you decided?" I say with my eyes on Luke again looking confused. Of course, the only thing he did was smiling to me.


"We decided that you may skip the first week of school and stay there for another week." My mum says.
"We have 1000 dollars deposited into your account to buy some clothes for another week."
I knew we could pay that, because my dad is a lawyer.
"REALLY!?! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH MUM!!!!!!!" I scream into the phone.
"no problem sweetie, but I gotta go, I'll speak to you later."
"okay bye mum."


Luke's parents left the room already to do some grocery shopping.
I stand up and run to the other side of the table where Luke was sitting. I wrap my arms around him and in my enthusiasm I kiss him. In shock I pull back.
"Sorry." I mumble, I'm feeling so stupid right now.
"Oh, but I didn't mind that at all." He smirks pulling me on his lap. He begins to kiss me. First it were innocent kisses, but they got more and more passionately. His hands disappeared under my shirt. I break the kiss and look at him.


"Luke, not here." I say, standing up and trying to walk away, but Luke grabs me by my hips, turns me around and kisses me one more time.
"Okay, now you may go and do the things you need to." He says placing a kiss on my forehead and then he lets me go.


I walk upstairs and lay everything that I need tonight down on my bed; my sparkly black dress, my shiny high black heels, some golden earrings, a golden ring, a golden necklace and a golden bracelet. When I layed everything ready I call Mel.
"Hey Mel, are we getting ready at Luke's tonight?"
"Sure, I'll be there with my stuff in 10."
"okay, see ya."


Exact 10 minutes later she stands for the door.
"Hey Mel. Come in." I say opening the door for her.
"Hey Cupcake, I brought all my stuff that I need for tonight."
"I can see that."


We walk upstairs to my temporary room. When we walk into my room, she sees my dress and everything.
"OMG, Cupcake, that dress is beautiful!!!"
"Thanks Mel. Now, Let me see what you are wearing!"
She shows me a very light pink dress. It was a strapless one. It came just above her knees and under her waistline, it poofed a little.
"Mel.... That's the perfect dress for you."
"You really think that?"
"Of course Mel, you will look stunning tonight. If Michael still doesn't see your worth his time, it's an asshole."
"Well... Actually...."


"Mel.... What didn't you tell me..? I smirk knowing what's coming.
"Well.... We're kind of together... He said he has feelings too."
"How do you mean 'kind of together'?"
"We're taking things slow. I mean we just met. We just need to figure things out, it's new for both of us, ya know, these feelings."
I nod. "I still think we need to celebrate it." I smirk
"I saw a cafe when we were at the mall yesterday, let's check out if they have something."
"Nahh, let's just hang out here or check out the beach."
"And if they have Starbucks, Mel?"
"THEN WHY ARE WE NOT MOVING!? GET YOUR LAZY ASS OFF THE BED AND LETS GO!!"
She runs out of my room, downstairs and then through the hallway to the door.


I grab my purse and walk to the front door.
"What took you so loooonnggg???!!!" She says, grabbing my hand and pushes me out of the door.
We walk to the cafe and take a seat.
"I'll go and order, what do you want?" Mel says.
"Just some coffee is good enough." I reply.
I look around, I see nothing more then some elderly people with their grandchildren, a few couples and some guys sitting at a table across the restaurant. I see them staring at me, I don't like them already. Then I see, in the corner of my eye, one of the guys standing up and walking towards to me.


"Hi, I'm Andrew." The guy smirks.
"And I need to care because..." I reply.
"because I'm going to be your next boyfriend." He still smirks.
"Look, your this close from me punching you in your ugly face." I hold my fingers together.
"You know, we can also can go somewhere else and..."


"Hands off Andrew, she's mine." I hear a voice say. I'm happy when I see Luke standing behind him.
He looks pretty angry.
"Take it easy Hemmings, who says she's yours huh? I didn't see your name on her, but mine will be." Andrew says or I think it was threatening.
"I say I'm his." I say with my eyes on Andrew while I'm walking to Luke. I pull him close to me and kiss him passionately. After a few seconds I let go and look over to Andrew.
"I say I'm his." I say, with my normally bitchy attitude of course.
"your going to regret that." He says, walking away.


And we can't help but we begin to laugh. We take our seat next to each other and then we just look at each other what seemed for hours but that was probably just 2 seconds.
"hey Luke, I didn't know you were here too." I hear Mel behind me.
"no, he just got her Mel." I say.
"oh well, here's your coffee, milk and sugar are already in it. Luke, do you want something?"
"thanks." I say with my eyes on Luke.
"No thanks, Princess here will share with me."
"And why would I do that?" I ask while my eyebrows shoot up.
"because I just saved you from Andrew." He smirks.
I sigh and hand my cup over to him. After we're done with drink in our coffee, we walk out the cafe.
"I'm going to Michaels for some band stuff, see ya later princess." He says, kissing me.
"bye Mel."
"Bye Luke"

"so princess huh?" She smirks.
"Mel, take it easy, it's just a nickname." I reply.
"a nickname with feelings if you ask me." She mumbles.
"What?"
"Nothing."

We check out the rest of the city together. Who knew Sydney was that big?! Anyways.... Around 8 p.m we're home. Or at Luke's house. We filled our stomachs with too many cupcakes. We walk upstairs to my room. Or the guest room... Fuck it, I'll just say my room.
"Let's get ready" Mel says.
"But it's only 8 p.m. We have like 3 hours before we go to the beach."
"beauty takes time, sweetheart."
I sigh. I begin to pull my dress on. When I'm totally done, I do my accesoiries. Then my make-up. Not too much make-up, only some mascara. When I'm all done, I look in the mirror and at the time, it's 10:30 p.m.
"Mel, are you done already?" I scream, she's dressing up in the bathroom.
"almost" she screams back.


I grab my heels and walk downstairs. Just when I'm downstairs I hear her scream.
"DEMI, I CAN'T ZIP MY DRESS. WOULD YOU PLEASE COME UP HERE AND DO IT??"
I sigh.
"Fine, I'm coming!" I walk upstairs again and enter the bathroom.
She turns her back to my and I zip her dress close.
"All done"
"Thanks Cupcake."
"Girls, are you coming?!?!" I hear Michael and Luke scream.
"let's go." I say to Mel.


When we're downstairs the guys look at us.
"What? Am I looking stupid?" I ask.
"you're looking beautiful." Luke says.
"you too." Michael says to Mel.
"thanks guys" We say.
"we'll meet Cal and Ash at the beach." Luke says.
"let's go"


We walk to the beach, it as a pretty short walk. At the beach we meet Ash and Cal, like Luke said.
"WOW, there are a lot of people." I say.
"yeah.. But we have a good spot at the rocks." Cal says.
We climb on the rocks. There's a pretty girl on there is already.
"Hey, you must be Demi and Melissa. Ash told me so much about you. I'm Bryana by the way."
"guys meet Bryana, my girlfriend." Ash says
"hey, I'm Demi and this is Melissa."
"You're going to have so much fun with us here."
I look over to Luke and say: "I think we already have a lot of fun."


At that moment, Luke stands up and walks to us. "I'm sorry but may I have Demi for a second?" He smirks.
He takes my hand and we climb over the rocks, a little further away from the rest.
"Look, Demi, I don't really know how to say this....." He scratches his neck.
"But... Look, I don't now if we have something....." He says.
"But if we don't..... I would love to have something... with you..."
