Unexpected
Dinner
I helped set the table with Carrie. She is super sweet and pretty. She actually is treating me like a normal person. Her sister Melissa comes out with what looked like veggies and meat in a pan. Carrie comes out with a bowl full of rice, peas and eggs. "What's this?"
"Stir fry. It's beef and chicken cooked with carrots, onions, peppers, broccoli and celery. This is fried rice. Its made with peas and eggs. Your not allergic are you?"
"Oh no. It's just that I've never had this before."
"It's our favourite meal. Let's pray:
God is great,

And we thank him for our food;
By his hand we all are fed;
Give us, Lord, our daily bread."
"Niall I'm sorry. I forgot this I my sister Melissa. Melissa, Niall."
"Nice to meet you Melissa." I shook her hand.
"Same to you. So Niall what do you do?"
"I'm in a boy band."
"What boy band?"
"One Direction."
"Your Niall Horan. The guy that eats all the time and I'm told not to invite him over for dinner; for he will clean out my cupboards and refrigerator?"
"Well to a constant. Yes."
"Cool."
"So Melissa what do you do?"
"I'm a photographer and I sing. But mostly photography."
"Where do you take your photos and of what?"
"I do photo shoots. And I own a studio and some land."
"What's your business called?"
"Cowboy Casanova. It's named after the first cover song Carrie and I sang together." by the time that conversation was over we were all done with our food. We cleaned up, grabbed some drinks and headed into their living room.
"Carrie what do you do?"
"Umm I model, sing and dance."
"I should have guessed that. You look perfect but you eat like a normal person would."
"Yeah. I don't want to be anorexic. So I maintain a healthy weight. Besides I love sugar."
"I would have never guessed that." Suddenly my phone rang "Just a sec." I say and walk into the kitchen.
"Hey Hazza. What's up?"
"Where are you?"
"I'm at the neighbours. Why?"
"It's movie night and we have been waiting for you for three hours."
"I'm sorry I'll be over in 10." I walked back into the living room. "Sorry guys I have to go."
"Oh Kk. It was nice meeting you Niall." Carrie said.
"Yeah it was nice having someone eat with us." Melissa said. They both got up and walked me to the door. We exchanged numbers and I headed home.
