“Juliet lives with me, in my house. I take care of her and I provide her with what she fucking needs. Last time I checked all you do is invite yourself over to my fucking house and try to be rude to her. It’s not funny, Niall, and I’m quite fucking sick of it.’’ Harry snaps, his grip on Juliet’s thigh tightening, causing her a little pain – but God knows it wasn’t on purpose.
‘’Seriously, Niall, chill out.’’ Liam chimes in, already ready to go home because of those two idiots, all they did was argue or disagree – nothing Liam wasn’t used to already.
Harry clenches his jaw hard as he looks away from Niall – exhaling deeply and slowly. Juliet knew Harry wasn’t in the right mood right now, but she wanted him to feel better, so she done what he does for her when she’s upset.
She picks up his hand from her leg and laces her fingers with his, squeezing tight as their joined hands rest on her thigh.
Juliet’s eyes find their way down to the site and she blushes at it – indeed shocked at her actions, but yet very proud of herself.
‘’I think we need to have a chat, Ni.’’ Liam says as he stands up, sighing as he adjusts his shirt, waiting on Niall to follow him, Sophia rises to assist Liam in the scolding.
Without another word, Niall stands and heads towards the front entrance with Liam, hopefully the talk will help because Harry wanted this to be a good night for Juliet and everyone else too.
“I’m sorry.’’ Harry mumbles lightly, staring down at his lap, ashamed of himself.
‘’Don’t apologize… I understand.’’ Juliet whispers back, squeezing Harry’s hand tight as he sighs deeply to himself.
‘’You know I never intended for tonight to start off so bad.. I just wanted to treat you with a good time, that’s all. But everything just has to be ruined.’’ Harry looks over at the girl beside him.
As he looks into her blue eyes he wonders how in hell was he so lucky? To have this girl in his life, to keep her safe, to help and protect her, to be there for her, to love her..
He wanted nothing more in life, Juliet was all he needed. He loved this girl with all of his heart, if only he could tell her that would it be even better – but some things just have to wait he assumes, just a little longer.
“Everything is just completely fucked up now.’’ Harry adds, huffing loudly.
Juliet keeps a hold of Harry’s hand as she turns to face him in her chair, she leans closer and puts her free hand on his thigh, preparing her speech.
‘’Stop doubting this, please Harry. I know you’re upset, but you can’t let one foolish thing ruin the night. It’s fine okay?” She assures him.
Harry takes a deep breath as he looks into her perfectly beautiful eyes, the very eyes he fell in love with the second he met her, those eyes he loves so much, ‘’I just wanted this to be an amazing night for the girl I love..’’
Juliet’s lips part as she takes in the words that left Harry’s mouth. She wasn’t quite sure what to say, nor was she able to think. She felt her cheeks blush and it was very visible even under all the makeup on her face. She releases a sigh softly and smiles lightly at Harry, loving what he said and appreciating it with all of her heart.
“This night will be amazing. I promise I’m not upset and it doesn’t bother me. I didn’t come to dinner to impress Niall, I came to dinner to be with you and your friends and have a good time. I don’t want one silly thing ruining this for all of us.’’ Juliet sighs as she feels Harry’s hand tighten their grip, his eyes burning holes straight through hers.
“I-‘’
‘’Okay, everything’s fine now.’’ Sophia say with a cheerful smile as she sits down in her seat, Niall and Liam not very far behind her.
Harry looks away from Juliet and lets go of her hand, his palms sweaty and his hands shaking. Juliet didn’t know why Harry done that, and she surely didn’t want him to. But instead of worrying about it, she just turned back around and kept her hands in her lap, and kept to herself.

“This cake is wonderful.’’ Sophia says as she takes her fourth bite of the huge slice of cake on her plate.
‘’Mmhmm.’’ Liam nods as he continues to chew up his in his mouth.
Niall, as usual, was done before everyone else. Juliet, on the other hand, didn’t get any cake – claiming she was feeling full.
Harry’s red velvet and cream cheese cake tasted so good, he couldn’t stop eating it. Juliet giggles to herself as Harry nearly drops the piece of cake off his fork, but he quickly shoved the fork in his mouth.
He notices her laughing and smiles as he glances over at the girl, the only thing on his mind – well besides this cake.
‘’You should try some, it’s amazing.’’ Harry says as he shallows, sitting the fork down and grabbing his glass of wine, sipping some to wash down the remains in his mouth.
‘’I’m fine.’’ She says lightly, smiling as Harry quickly picks up his fork and cuts off another piece.
But this time, instead of going to his own mouth with it, he slightly turned in his chair and put his hand under the fork to prevent any crumbs from getting all over Juliet’s dress as he inched the fork towards her.
‘’Open.’’ He says with a smile as the fork reaches her closed lips.
She laughs a little to herself before going with it and opening her mouth.
Harry puts the fork in her mouth and she closes her lips around it. He gives her a few seconds as he pulls the fork out of her mouth.
Juliet’s eyes lit up at the taste of the cake, it was really good actually.
‘’What do you think?’’ Harry asks with a smirk, raising his eyebrows at her.
‘’It’s amazing.’’ She says as she takes a drink of her water.
‘’Just like you.’’ Harry says in a whisper tone as he throws her wink before turning around fully in his chair.
All Juliet could do was blush, Harry said the perfect little things to her that made her heart skip a beat, her cheeks fluster, and those damn butterflies go crazy in her stomach.
But boy did she love all those.. especially the butterflies.
