*Ella's POV*
I've been ignoring Liam's calls for hours now. This is just the calm before the storm. He's probably going crazy because I'm not answering it, but he deserves it. I can't believe I'm sitting on our couch with our dog with an engagement being forced to wonder if Liam hasn't been faithful to me. I need answers. I take a deep breath before picking up my phone and finally returning his calls.
"Hello" I say nervously while the other end of the phone remains completely silent.
"Can you please tell me what's going on?" I plead.
"I-I-I don't know what to say." I've been replaying it over and over on my head for hours now, but now that I actually have to say it I don't know how." - L
The pit is forming in my stomach as I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for what I'm about to hear.
"Okay, so last summer, at the end of August the boys' and I went to a fashion show in LA, and there was this model there and after the show we were both hammered and we..." I interrupt before he can finish. Right then and there I feel my heart break into a million pieces.
"How could you?!" scream
"Ella I don't know it was so so so stupid and I regretted it before during and after it happened." - L
"Did you fuck her?" I ask, hoping that the answer will be no.
"No, we just messed around...it didn't mean anything to me she doesn't mean anything to me!" - L
"Who is she?" - E
"Leila Partridge,but that doesn't matter she doesn't matter!" - L
"When were you planning on telling me? Before or after we were married. Oh, I get it. That's why you proposed to me, because you knew that once I found out I wouldn't leave you! That's why! You selfish bastard!" I'm yelling beneath my sobs
"No that's not true! This all happened before...before I was head over heels madly in love with you." - L
"It still happened, and I don't know if I'll be able to forgive you. Not this time. I've already given you too many chances. I risked everything to be with you, everything. I don't fucking deserve this!" - E
"You're right. I don't deserve you. You're much too good for me and always have been, but we've both made mistakes, and they'll be many more to come, please don't give up on me now, not yet at least. I'll do anything. Please. I love you so much." - L
I can hear it in his voice that he's truly being sincere, and I want to forgive him I really do, but he fucked up big time. I have to stand my ground.
"Liam we can't keep doing this, up and down, back and fourth. It's exhausting, and you just destroyed every ounce of faith I had left. It's over."
