The last week at my parent's house hasn't been as horrible as I thought it would be. I got to see a lot of my friends and take some time to unwind before flying from country to country over the course of the next seven days. I still haven't told Liam about Matt, not because I'm trying to hide it from him, but because I am waiting for the right time to do so. Luckily, Matt hasn't tried to talk to me since our awkward meeting. I say goodbye to my family and kiss Simon all over the place before heading to the airport.
*The Next Morning*
We touch down on the ground of Paris France and 6 PM, which means it's 12 PM in the U.S. Shit I am jet lagged. Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamt of coming to Paris, I can't believe I'm finally here. When I get off the plane there is security ready to greet me. They speak poor English so I can barely understand what they're saying to me, but I think they're taking me to Liam. Just as I suspected I am escorted to a fancy limousine where Liam is waiting for me inside.
I slide in getting as close to him as possible "Hey Darling" I say and as he wraps his arms around me.
"I missed you so much baby." - L
"I missed you too." - E
He kisses me on the mouth and puts his hand in mine.
"Welcome to France." - L
"It's so beautiful here." - E
"It's lovely indeed. Sorry I couldn't meet you in the airport, the fans here are insane." - L
"Crazier than the Americans?" - E
"You have no idea." - L
"That being said we are going to have extra security with us as all times. I don't want anything to happen to you." - L
Even though I don't think this is necessary it's sort of cute how protective Liam is. I love that about him. I always feel safe.
"So when can we visit the Eiffel Tower?" I ask
"Tonight, we'll have dinner after." - L
"Okay so you have publicity stuff to do today?" - E
"Yeah babe, I'm sorry. You know I want to spend every waking moment with you, but Eleanor is here so I figured you two could hang out." - L
"It's fine." I lie
I can't help but feel a little let down, I thought we could spend some time together on this trip. I want to see all of these historic places with him but I guess that's not happen. I'm just gonna have to make the best of it.
