Chapter 60 - Long Time No See
*Yeah, what about tonight.* I text him back. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing at this point, but I have to take this risk. I need closure. This is for me, myself, and I.
*Cool. Wanna get dinner?*
*I already ate. I'm down for some Pinkberry though.*
*I'll see you there around 8?*
*Yeah sounds good*
Typically I wouldn't do anything behind Liam's back, but this is one of the few exceptions. I am going to tell him, but not right now, it will cause him to worry and impact his performance on stage, and I don't want that. I don't even know what to wear to this little get together. It's nothing big, it's not like I'm trying to impress him. I still dislike him. I just wanna hear what he has to say. I'm just gonna throw on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt and call it a day. As I'm making my way to Pinkberry so many thoughts are going through my head. This is going to be soooo weird. I can't remember the last time I saw him. Other than the fact that he made me cry. That was fun. Not. Maybe I should just turn around. He is just going to hurt me like every other time before.
Despite my better judgement I find myself outside of Pinkberry anxiously waiting for his arrival. After waiting for over 5 minutes I see him walking towards me. Oh my god there he is...
"Hi, long time no see" He says
"Hi" I reply
"You look different...but a good different...much more mature." - M
"Well I am. Thank you. You look the same except harrier." - E
He laughs and then opens the door for me.
"I'm surprised Mr.Pretty Boy let you out tonight." I roll my eyes and decide to ingore this comment. Little does he know. We eat our frozen yogurt and make awkward conversation. It isn't as weird as I thought it would be, but I am still very uncomfortable.
"So I know there is a reason why you invited me out tonight. What did you want to talk about?" - E
"There is so just so much." - M
I can see sadness fill his eyes.
"We can't do this here. Come over for a little?" - M
"Matt I can't. I have a boyfriend and that would be extremley innappropriate." - E
"Please. Just give me a chance to talk to you." - M
"Talk now." - E
"Fine. Come with my to my car." - E
I know I shouldn't be going anywhere with him, but I can't help it. I want to hear what he has to say.
