I wake up around 9:30 on February 28th, it's my birthday...well not really. Being born on leap year really sucks, but I've learned to adjust. I can't believe I'm 19. I have come such a long way since this time last year. I'm doing great in college, have an amazing boyfriend, and I'm in a much better place. Unfortunately, he has an important meeting today that he can't miss, so he can't come until tomorrow. I'm a little disappointed but its not his fault.
"Happy Birthday!!!" Megan says while I'm still half asleep.
"Thank you." - E
"Get dressed I wanna take you to breakfast." - M
I nod my head and pull on some yoga pants and a sweatshirt.
"I hope we aren't going anywhere fancy." - E
"No don't worry I was just thinking the diner right on campus, I know how much you like that place." - M
We are about to leave and there's a knock on the door
"I wonder who that could be, are you expecting someone?" - M
"No Liam isn't coming until tomo..." I am unable to finish my sentence when I see Liam at the door.
"Baby what are you doing here?" I ask, and run into his arms.
"You didn't actually thinking would miss your birthday did you?" He says and hands me flowers
"These are beautiful thank you. This is a wonderful surprise." I kiss him on the mouth. I almost forgot that Megan is standing right next to us.
"Wait did you know about this?" - E
"Maybe..." She says with a smirk.
I can't help but give her a huge hug.
"Alright well I'm gonna get out of here and leave you two love birds alone, I'm sleeping at Caleb's tonight, but if you need anything text me." She picks up he bag off the floor, and shuts the door behind her.
"I thought she'd never leave." Liam says seductively while rubbing my thigh, his hand begins to travel further up my leg before I stop him.
"I'm hungry lets do this later." - E
"Fair enough, but be ready because I'm gonna give you a birthday present you'll never forget. - L
