One Love
Chapter 19 - Home Sweet Home
My whole family was waiting for me at the airport. The second I saw them, they all gave me huge hugs, followed by them bombarding me with questions. My little sister Christine was obviously beyond jealous of the luck I encountered in the big apple.
"When can I meet them?" She said
"Yes when can we meet them, and by them I mean Liam," my mom said enthusiastically.
"They're on tour so probably not for a while." I replied
"That's a shame, but we want to here all about your week, lets start heading home," my dad chimed in.
It was so good to be home. I want to spend as much time here as I possibly can in the next month before leaving for NYU. It was also good to see my friends. Except, it didn't take long for people in this small town to start talking. Some thought I was a compulsive liar while others thought I was simply insane. I'm not sure which I would rather be pegged as. Of course, it wasnt long before my psycho ex boyfriend contacted me for the first time in months. After his rude comments and never ending text messages harassing me about Liam, I obviously didn't respond. Luckily my best friends still had my back. They were the ones who stood by me and wanted to know all the dirty details. I could only reveal so much never knowing when a person would be the next to turn on me, and sell some sort of absurd story to the tabloids. So far, I have managed to keep my relationship with Liam mostly private, and I want to continue to do so. I miss him so much, we text all the time, and FaceTime, but it's not the same. I want him here with me, and it sucks because I know it's only going to get harder. I never imagined myself being in a long distance relationship. It's going to be an uphill battle, but he's worth it.
