Three Months Later: October

It’s October which means… Halloween. I’m so excited. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love dressing up and now that I have kids it makes it that much more fun. Today we are going to visit Harry in the hospital. He’s been in there for over a month now and is responding well to the chemotherapy and radiation… or so he tells me anyways.
The kids, Taylor and I reach the hospital around 11:00. When we get up to the room Louis and Niall are already there along with Zayn.

“Uncle Zayn!” the kids yell in unison

“Hey guys… you alright yeah?”

“Yes Uncle Zayn we miss you” Thomas tells him

“Well lucky for you little mate I have gotten moved into my house here in London” he says

“Oh cool can we come over…pleaseee?” Brynlie begs

“Well if it’s ok with your parents then yeah I don’t care”

“Please momma?” Bryn, Liv and Oliver plead

“Zayn are you sure you can handle all of them?” I ask

“Yeah we can handle them” he tells me

“WE?”

“Oh yeah… um Perrie and I are kind of back together and she has moved in with me” Zayn says

I tell the kids they can go and that they better behave for Uncle Zayn. Perrie and him will bring them home later tonight. Taylor and Louis decide to let Thomas and Johannah go as well, so it looks like he has his hands full today.

We sit and have a nice chat with Harry. He says he’s feeling pretty good for right now. He’s a little bit more tired than usual but that seems to be his only complaint.

“What is all the commotion outside?” Taylor says walking to the window, I follow behind her

“Jesus what’s with all the paps” I say

“Oh well Liam must be here then” Louis says

“Why would there be so many… oh yeah nevermind” I say

I forgot that Liam and Sophia had a radio interview this morning and were going to address the pregnancy rumors that have been circulating the past month. I can’t believe that it caused this much of an uproar though. Liam walks into the room closely followed by Sophia

“Hey mate how ya doin?” he asks Harry

“Not too bad today” he replies

Niall and I go downstairs to let Liam and Soph catch up with Harry, Louis and Taylor

“Cassie… can we go back to my house I’m so bored” Niall complains

“Niall we are visiting Harry. You know that he is extremely sick besides what’s so great about going to your place?” I say

“Well I can think of a few things we could do” he says

“Niall James Horan you’re bandmate and best friend is quite possibly on his death bed and all you can think about is sex? Are you serious?”

“No I think of other stuff too” he says defensively

“God Niall you are so shallow sometimes. You know what I’m leaving.. I’m tired of just being your temporary fix” I start to cry

“Cassie, you’re not just a temporary fix” he assures me

“Then what am I Niall”

“Cassie.. do you still have that pink diamond engagement ring I gave to you? The one with the Sapphires on it?” he asks

“Yeah.. why would I get rid of it?

“Ok, so how about you start wearing it again and be my fiancé” Niall says

“What?” I ask confused

“Why not? I love you Cassie and you love me right? Then why shouldn’t we get married then? We’ve grown up a lot and I know now that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” Niall says

“Are you asking me to marry you Niall?”

“Yes.. I am”

“C..Can I think about it? Niall I don’t want to rush into anything like before ok” I tell him

“oh, uh yeah sure. Take all the time you need” he says

With that we got lunch and went back up to Harry’s room and visit with everyone. A few hours later we all decide to head home so Harry can get some rest. We all congratulate Liam and Sophia on the baby and go to our cars.

I don’t know what to do. Should I marry Niall? I mean I do love him, I love him more than anything; I never stopped loving him actually. Everything is just so overwhelming right now.

Gahh i will be so glad when this semester is over and i graduate! all these papers i have to write and presentations i have to get ready to give is kicking my ass.
