In a blink of an eye my whole life changed
I didn’t want to get up from the most amazing date I had with Deandre sadly I had to it was the day of the interview for the job. So I got up put took a shower got on my formal attire and I am just about ready to leave while waiting for crystal to pick me up I got a text from my baby.
Deandre: Good morning beautiful, I hope you had an amazing night last night and I just wanted to tell you I love you from the bottom of my heart even if other girls pass by my way you will always be my number girl.
That text made my heart jump into cloud 9 I guess this is love, love makes you go crazy and forget everything in this world.
Me: I love you Dre baby I cannot wait to see you tomorrow again you enjoy your day alright I will call you when the interview is done I love you.
Suddenly I hear a honk outside little did I know it was my crazy best friend Crystal
Crystal recognized that my face was blushing
Crystal : Ohhhhh girl I know what that smile means tell me all about the date yesterday.
Me: Girll yesterday date was amazing he took me to an empty stadium, and cooked my favourite dish.
Crystal: Awww I wish I had a relationship like you and Dre.
Me: Stop it you will find Mr. Right in a couple of weeks when he comes to Dubai . * Winks *.
Crystal: haha * her face all blushed up * I hope girl I really do.
We finally reached the venue of the interview
After 2 hours of waiting anxiously our time have arrived to enter the interview.
The interviewer asked us both to present ourselves.
Crystal went first: I am a journalism student currently studying at the MiddleSex University of Dubai.
Me: I am a journalism student as well currently studying in Middlesex University of Dubai.
Interviewer: I see you have a lot of job experiences the both of you what caught my eye about both of your CV is that you both worked for the rolling stones magazine. Moving on tell me why are you girls the best candidate for this job?
Crystal: I am a good candidate for this job because I have good PR skills I am very good in talking to people at the same time I am great multi-tasker.
Me: I can deal with under- pressure situations I am very organized when it comes to my work.
Interviewer: To be honest both of you girls were the best candidates, I have seen today so congratulations you got the job. You start training in a week and u start working after three days.
Crystal and I tried to control our happiness especially Crystal it was her dream for a long time to see one direction in person, we left the place we were dancing in the streets like maniac’s crystal was crying tears of joy, and I was as well because I knew how much this job would mean to her. I checked my phone to call my baby to tell him the good news yet I found 5 missed calls from his mother.
Deandre Mom: WHERE ARE YOU WHY HAVEN’T YOU RETURNED ANY OF MY CALLS?
Me: I am sorry I was in an interview for a job what is wrong???!! I said it in a very nervous way and my heart literally feel down to the floor hoping that nothing bad happened to my baby.
Deandre Mom: SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED TO DEANDRE HE WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND AMBULANCES ARE AT THE SCENE RIGHT NOW. She was scared and nervous.
Me: WHATTTT!! WHEREEEE I HAVE TO GO SEE HIM NOW YOU CALM DOWN AND I WILL SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM.
Deandre Mom: OKAY PLEASE UPDATE ME PLEASE PLEASE!.
I grabbed crystal hands and dragged her to the car I was in a state of shock speechless, couldn’t say anything while on our way to the accident I told crystal that Deandre was in a car accident. This was supposed to be a good day, of celebration tears were falling down my face I was feeling alot of emotions all at once my whole life just faded away into the sky.
