Tattooed Memories *n.h.*

ROSE

It was the first day back to Arizona University for my sophomore year of college. I had been dreading this day all summer but I was extremely excited to see all my friends again. Some of them lived in different cities, so I only got to see them when classes were in session.

I was currently waiting for Luke, my brother, to get my luggage out of the back of his truck since he wouldn't let me do it myself. "Are you also not gonna let me take those up to my room by myself are you?" I asked him curiously as I slid my backpack on my shoulders and grabbed one of my big duffle bags.

He looked at me with a smile. "You are correct." he said as he grabbed the last of my bags. He followed behind me to my dorm where I already knew my best friend Perrie was waiting.

I took my lanyard that had my room key out of my pocket and slid it into the lock. I twisted it to the left until I heard it click before I pushed open the door. The room was just as I remembered. The walls were painted white. There was two beds, across the room from each other along with dressers. Two desks were pushed next to each other by the window. A huge closet that Perrie and I both shared and also a full sized bathroom.

Perrie had already made her bed and put curtains on the windows. Her suitcases were emptied and pushed neatly under her bed. The bathroom already had her makeup bag sitting on the sink and her things in the shower.

Perrie herself, was sitting on the edge of her bed as she looked through her phone. Her head snapped up when she heard Luke close the door behind him. "Rose!" She yelled and ran over to me. I dropped the bags onto the floor before she pulled me into a tight and needed hug. "I missed you so much."

I giggled lightly as I hugged her back. "I missed you too Pez." I replied before pulling away. She picked up one of my bags while I picked up the other and we took them over to my bed.

Luke placed the rest of the bags next to him before looking at me. "I'm gonna start back on the long way home." he told me. I nodded as I wrapped my arms around his waist in a hug.

"Okay.." I said sadly. "I'll see you at Christmas." I looked up at him as he smiled.

"Love you sis." he said and kissed my forehead. "I'll see you soon. Nice seeing you again, Perrie." Then he left.

While Perrie helped me make my bed, we caught up on our summers. "So Zayn transferred here from ASU." Perrie said randomly as I tucked the sheets in at the end of the mattress.

Zayn was her boyfriend of a year. He had been going to Arizona State University for his art major. He was a really sweet and down-to-earth guy except there was one thing I didn't like.. He was best friends with Niall Horan, the campus player. He has pretty much shagged every girl who wore the shortest, tightest clothing and had too much makeup on.

"Why'd he transfer?" I asked curiously as I placed the pillows in the right order I wanted them to be. Then went to start unpacking my bags.

"He said it was too far away from me and the guys to drive here every week." Perrie answered. I started to put my clothes into the empty dresser drawers and hung some up in the closet. I nodded in understanding.

"Do you want to go to a party tonight?" She asked as she sat down on her bed and watched me move around the room. I shrugged. A party couldn't hurt. Plus I didn't have classes until next week and its only Thursday.

"Sounds great," I said. "I have a new outfit I've been wanting to try out for a while now." She grinned.

"Great. We should start getting ready then after you finish unpacking."

It took me about an hour to get everything put away. The second I got done, Perrie rushed me over to the closet to get my outfit.

I grabbed the candy red dress and the thigh high black boots before changing. Then she took me into the bathroom to do my hair and makeup.

She did a natural look for makeup with a light pink lip tint. Then loosely curled my hair and braided my bangs back. I waited out in the room as she got ready for the night. After about thirty minutes, she came out fully ready. "Let's go." she said with a excited smile before leading me out of our dorm room.

If only I would've known where the night would take me..
