Taking Chances
(Chapter:18)
Harry’s POV:
She was biting her lower lip trying to keep in the sobs.
Oh no! Please don’t cry! I panic when I see girls cry!
“Harry….”, she said facing down and finally looked up with her eyes watery. Oh no.
“I am crazy, unconditionally, madly, deeply in love with you”, she said with a sigh then looking down.
My heart stopped. I gasped and my eyes widened at the sound of that word coming out of her.
“Taylor I-“, she cut me off.
“Harry I know you said that you are in love with some other girl, but- I can make you happy! I can be and will be anything to be your everything! I’m just going out of my crazy mind for you and won’t stop thinking about you no matter how hard I try!”, she said with tears running down her face.
I felt bad. Wait, not bad, like shit! I went out with this girl only to forget about Allison, but didn’t realize the hurt I caused.
I rubbed the back of my neck, and let out a heavy sight. I looked at her and was waiting for me to say something or she’ll go nuts!
“Taylor…”, I said walking up to her and getting both of her hands with mine and put them in my chest.
“I’m really sorry I caused you so much pain. Like I told you at the restaurant, it was never my attention to cause you any harm or pain. But, the truth is, I’m not the one you’re looking for”, and with that, she let out a sob with made me feel more like shit.
With my hand I grabbed her chin to make her look up and look at me.
“But I do promise you this”, I began”, you are going to find the perfect guy for you. And trust me, you are, cuz if you haven’t notice, you are a very beautiful girl with the kindest personality and the funniest sense of humor a girl can have”, okay I really didn’t know about her sense of humor, but I was just trying to cheer her up.
“You really think so?”, she said with soft sobs and what sounded like hic-ups.
I nodded and kissed her cheek meaning everything I just said.
“I know so”, I assured her.
She let out a smile which made me feel more relieved. She wrapped her arms around my torso and rested her head in my chest. I didn’t want to be rude so I wrapped my arms around her as well.
Allison’s POV:
Out of nowhere I just see her wrap her arms around Harry’s waist. My Harry!
I felt this sharp pain in my chest that I couldn’t resist.
I’ve been standing out here outside his class overhearing- well, eavesdropping in their conversation. I heard that she is still in love with him, and I also heard Harry tell her all those nice and sweet things to her, to make her feel better.
But honestly, I was jealous. Go get your own Harry!
When I heard them say their farewells and their voices getting closer to the door, I was starting to back away before they noticed I was here.
“Well Taylor, I’ll see you tomorrow”, Harry said.
“Yeah okay, bye Harry”, Taylor said stepping out of his class.
I was next to the lockers in the hall way hiding so she wouldn’t see me. When I finally saw her leave, I stepped in the hall way to see Harry standing outside his class watching her walk away.
When he turned and saw me standing there, he slightly frowned.
“Did you hear?”, he asked, knowing what the answer will be.
“Uh-huh, every bit”, I said walking to him looking at the floor.
“Allison-“, I cut him off.
“I know”, I sighed. “Don’t worry about it”, I said shoving my four fingers in my butt pocket of my jeans.
“You’re not mad?!”, he asked surprise of how calm I was acting.
“No”, I chuckled. “Although! I was going to barge in there and yank her off you for hugging you. No one can hug you but me okay”, I said walking towards him and wrapping my arms around him.
“Ahhhh, so you got jealous”, he smirked.
“Yessss! I just got my Harry back! I’m not planning to let you go this time!”, I stated to him.
He chuckled and looked around to see if anyone was still here and he lifted up my chin to bring his lips to mine.
“Me neither”, he said.
