Little Things

The five of us sat around eating pizza, drinking tea and Brisk, and playing silly games. Right now we were in the middle of something similar to Truth or Dare and 20 Questions. "So Ally, how long have you liked Louis?" Niall asks. I blush and Lou and I smile at each other.

"I'd have to say it's been since we were about 16."

"Awww," they all say in unison. Louis interlocks his fingers with mine and I rest my head on him.

"Follow up," Liam says.

"Go ahead," I reply with a smile.

"How long have you liked Ally?" he asks Louis. Louis kisses my forehead, causing me to blush a bit.

"I never liked her," I frown and look at him. I let go of his hand.

"What?"

"Ally, you-"

"No! You were just using me to drive my boyfriends away!" I stood up and limp to go to my room.

"Ally wait!" Louis yells. I'm stopped by someone grabbing my arm. I turn to see Louis of course. I look down. I felt like I was going to cry. "Ally, you didn't let me finish. I never liked you. I've always loved you." I look at him and smile, slight tears in my eyes.

"I'm so stupid...." I say. He pulls me into a hug.

"No you're not. You've just been hurt so many times, by so many people, anything said to you, like what I said, you take it to heart. I should've taken that into consideration. I'm sorry Ally." I hug him tighter.

"It's not your fault....I'm the one that's broken..." he strokes my hair.

"I'm here to fix that. And if I can't, I'm at least going to try." I smile and kiss him.

"I love you, Louis." He puts his forehead against mine.

"I love you too, Ally. More than anything. Please don't ever forget that." I nod. "Remember," he begins. Suddenly, he starts singing. "I'm in love with you, and all your little things...." I giggle and he kisses me. We got back to the living room, and everyone decides we should do karaoke. The thing about that, I wasn't very comfortable with performing in front of others. I did it when I was younger, people made fun of me, and I never wanted to do it again. Louis knew nothing about that, so this was going to be interesting.

Here was the lineup of songs that were sung (They're 1D songs):

Liam sang 18
Harry sang Perfect
Niall sang Night Changes
and Louis sang Little Things

Then, it came my turn.

"I don't know about this guys...."

"Come on! I bet you're amazing." Liam says. I give him a small smile and shrug.

"Yeah! I'd love to hear you," Niall says.

"Right? You're already beautiful, I bet that voice is amazing," Harry says. Louis makes me look him in the eyes.

"What do you say beautiful? Sing for us." I sigh.

"Alright," I say. They all cheer and I get a very personal and sad song up. It was Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson. I picked it because my family had a lot of problems before my dad remarried, so I basically dedicated it to my family during that period. Specifically my biological mother. Louis helped me into a chair that was placed in front of the boys. As soon as I began singing, the emotions hit me. I didn't cry, but I put my heart into the song, and seeing the look on their faces, well, it let me know that they loved it. I was happy, and continued until the song was over. They all clapped and cheered when I was done.

"That was absolutely amazing, love." Louis says, kissing me as soon as Harry helps me sit next to him.

"I love your voice Ally," Liam says. I smile and thank him.

"You should go out for the X-Factor," Niall says. I shrug.

"You don't even know how hard it was to sing in front of you guys. Imagine how it'd be if I went out in front of thousands."

"Well, I'm not pressuring you," Louis says, interlocking his fingers with mine once again. I smile and kiss him.

"Thanks Lou." he nods. After that, we spent the rest of the night watching movies, When everyone had passed out, it was just Louis and I, sitting on the couch, cuddling, watching Perks of Being A Wallflower. The movie had finished, and I was seriously tired. I yawned, and Louis caught on.

"Tired?" I nod. "Come on, I'll tuck ya in." I smile and he helps me to my room. I lay down, and sleep seriously wants to take over, but I won't let it, Not yet. Louis kisses me, and he's about to go in the living room, but I stop him.

"Wait," I say. He turns to me.

"Yeah?"

"Stay with me."

"Are you sure?" I nod.

"I liked cuddling with you too much. I don't want it to end now." he chuckles a little and nods.

"Alright, just give me a minute." I nod and he goes to the bathroom, takes off his shoes, then lays down with me. I start to shiver, so he pulls me close to him. I immediately warm up, and just before sleep takes over, I hear Louis say, "Goodnight Ally. I love you."
