Change My Mind

Chapter Seven

HARRY

As I stepped off the elevator and made my way towards the wardrobe department I suddenly felt myself start to rush towards the room where I would get to see Erin.
I opened the door and was delighted to see Erin leaning over her desk grabbing one of her sketches. Her curves moved flawlessly as she walked toward the rack on the other end of the room holding the sketch against the outfit to compare. She was humming to herself as she worked and I couldn’t resist, she clearly had no idea I was there.
I snuck across the room and got close to Erin’s ear, “I can always come back if you aren’t ready for me.” I whispered as she jumped, clearly startled by my presence.
I started to laugh seeing the expression on her face. Then suddenly I caught a whiff of the perfume she was wearing, Alien by Thierry Mugler. It was my favorite scent, and on her it was intoxicating.
“Oh my God you scared me!” she exclaimed as I continued to smile at her reaction.
“Sorry,“ I said with a chuckle, “I didn’t meant to scared you, love.”
She shook her head as if to regain her composure, “It’s fine, I just didn’t hear you come in.” she said as she started scanning the room, looking for something, “Oh here.” She said as she slipped past me, “Try this on to start with.” She handed me a pair of black skinny jeans and a Rolling stones t-shirt and pointed to a small nook in the room set up like a dressing room with a curtain for me to close while I changed.
I opened the curtain when I was done and when I stepped out Erin’s eyes caught mine and I could tell she hadn’t even noticed I’d actually changed clothes. “How does it look?” I asked.
Erin blinked a few times breaking eye contact with me before saying, “Uh, yeah that looks great!”
She turned quickly and I saw the faint redness that grew in her cheeks as she handed me another outfit to try on. As I reached for it my fingertips lightly brushed the soft skin of her hand and she jumped slightly. I turned and walked into the nook leaving the curtain open a bit so I could ask her about her relationship with Niall.
“So you and Niall have become pretty close…when did you guys meet?”
“Oh, uh we met the other night at Stefanie’s initiation. We kind of bonded over our Irish roots and he’s just been really nice to me since I’ve come out here.”
She paused to look at me and I smiled in response but she seemed to become flustered and continued to babble on about her and Niall, “It’s nice to be able to make friends with someone you have so much in common with so fast. He’s really been great showing me around ya know? I mean like the other day we went out to breakfast and then when Stef had to go into work he was really cool about spending more time with me, even though I’m sure he was tired from initiation, but he came over to Stef’s and watched some scary movies with me.”
She took a deep breath when she finished talking. She had become slightly winded from talking so fast with very little breath, but she looked nervous when I didn’t respond right away, so this time I would speak up before she could start ranting again.
“Oh that’s right, I came by but you had already gone to meet up with Stefanie.” I said realizing now that this was the same friend of Stef’s that had come for a visit.
She had been talking so fast, I almost missed it when she said they were friends. She still looked a bit unnerved so I offered up a quick comment about how nice it was to connect with someone so fast. I walked out of the dressing room, “Okay, I really like this one.” I gestured to the black button down shirt she had me put on.
Erin turned and tilted her head and bit her bottom lip as she looked closely at the shirt paired with another set of black jeans and dark brown leather boots. “I do too but it’s going to need some alterations.” She leaned over and grabbed a measuring tape, “Come here so I can take some measurements.”
I did as I was asked and took a few steps closer to her. She grabbed my wrists and moved my arms so that they were held out to my sides. She worked rather quickly pinning the shirt where she wanted it and took a step back to see her work from a distance.
“Okay, that looks really good.” She said happily. Handing me one more outfit, “Last one for now.”
I walked back into the dressing room and this time decided to be a bit bolder, leaving the curtain wide open.
Erin noticed and hurried over, “Oops, you forgot to close this.” She said while reaching for the curtain to close it.
“Nope, I didn’t forget. It doesn’t bother me if you see me in my boxers.” Erin stopped dead in her tracks at my statement and stared at me like she was trying to decide something. When I winked at her she rolled her eyes and turned away pointedly keeping herself turned around the entire time I was changing. She didn’t once try to sneak a peek at me, which was not only unusual but sort of frustrating.
When I was done I stepped out of the dressing room once more and cleared my throat. She turned around and I saw that she still had a little pink on her cheeks.
“Those pants don’t seem to fit right.” She said placing her hands on my shoulder making me turn so she could get a better view of the back of the pants.
She turned me around again this time asking me to spread my legs a bit as she got on her knees. When she got into the position she needed to be in she started to run the measuring tape up the side of my leg and I felt her delicate fingers lightly caress my thigh. She was dangerously close to touching the part of me that was already beginning to grow from the way she touched my thigh. When she moved her measuring tape just a few more centimeters up she grazed it with her pinky and now I was the one who was blushing.
“Oh my God I’m so sorry!” She screamed as she started to back away, only stopping when she realized she had a pin hanging from my pants.
“It’s okay.” I said.
“No really, I’m so so sorry!”
“Really it’s fine, I know it was an accident.” I said one more time. I tried breaking the tension by adding, “But hey, while you’re down there…”
She looked up at me and I could tell she didn’t know I was kidding. I shouted quickly, “I’m only joking with you!” before she could become seriously offended.
She took a deep breath and rolled her eyes again while standing up to face me, “You aren’t that funny…Or that cute you know.” She said trying to laugh but I could tell she was still a little on edge.
“I’m sorry, I was just trying to ease the tension. I didn’t mean to upset you.”
“It’s okay.” She said and sent me on my way back to the dressing room telling me to be careful of the pins.
When I came out from putting my clothes back on, I saw her sitting on a cushion on the floor feet crossed going over some swatches with different colors and patterns on them.
“I just wanted to say thank you by the way.”
“For what?” she asked, as she got up to put the outfit I handed her away neatly so the pins wouldn’t come out.
“For just dropping everything to be our designer. I know the lads and I really appreciate it. I just hope you know how much it means to all of us.”
She turned to look at me and her eyes softened as she smiled. “That’s really sweet, thank you.” She said.
I took a step closer to her and I could see she started to tense up again before realizing I was putting my arms out for a hug. She leaned in hesitantly and I wrapped my arms around her shoulders. We stood there for only a few seconds and I could feel her breath out, almost like she was relaxing again, and that’s when the door opened and Niall entered saying, “Hello!” in the most obnoxious tone I’ve ever heard. Erin pushed away from me and ran towards Niall jumping into his arms and that’s when I felt a pang in my chest. Maybe they weren’t just friends?
“Hey beautiful! Hey man, ready to go?” Niall said as he put Erin down.
“Yeah just let me grab my wallet.” I said watching carefully and seeing that Niall still hadn’t taken his hand from around Erin’s waist. As I turned to grab it off the table where I left it while I was changing I couldn’t help noticing how Erin was smiling up at Niall when he turned to look at her.
“Erin, we’re going to grab lunch. Would you like to join us?”
I cringed at the thought of having to sit through an entire meal watching them be all cute with each other. When I turned around Erin’s eyes were locked on me like she was trying to decide. Crap did she see me make that face.
“No. Thanks, but I have a lot of work to get done before the tour starts.” She said looking from me back to Niall.
“Okay, love. I’ll see you later for my fitting?” he placed a kiss on her cheek.
“Sounds like a plan.” She answered smiling as she watched him walk out of the room.
“Bye Erin, Lovely seeing you again.” I said walking towards the door, towards her. She took a large step to the side and said, “You too.” She smiled as she said it but I couldn’t get the feeling out of my head that she was trying to avoid physical contact with me.
I waved awkwardly and followed Niall out the door.

As Niall and I sat down at the table the hostess placed us at, I saw her direct all her attention to Niall, but he barely noticed. Damn it!
“So what are you thinking of getting, Harry?” Niall asked as he perused the menu.
“I’m not sure yet…What’s going on with you and Erin?” I blurted out so fast I couldn’t contain myself.
“What do you mean?” He looked up at me, with a questioning yet knowing look.
Time to learn how to play it cool Styles, “Well I mean, you’ve only known each other a few days but you two seem very comfortable with each other…”
“Yeah…?” he said waiting for me to spit it out.
“It looks like you two are really getting to know each other…”
“Yeah we are. She’s a really great girl. I’ve said that before.”
God this is killing me. Why wouldn’t he just answer the question that I know he knows I’m getting at? Okay, I know how to play this. “You two look good together.”
“Thanks?” he looked up from the menu long enough to give me a weird look like he had no clue what I was getting at anymore.
“What I mean to say is…Do you think this could turn into something serious?”
Niall let out a sharp breath as he dropped the menu down on the table. “Harry—“ he said looking like he was trying to find the words, “What?”
“With you and Erin? You’re seeing each other, right?”
“…No…Where would you get that idea?”
“I see the way you two are, that’s all.”
“We’re just friends.” He said picking up his menu. “That’s all.” He said rolling his eyes.
“But you want more? How could you not? I mean you didn’t even notice the hostess giving you the flirty eyes…”
“I’m hungry! That’s why I didn’t notice. And no I don’t want to be more than friends with Erin. She’s pretty but not my type. Why do you care?” He stared at me for a moment before it clicked, “You like Erin, don’t you? And you thought something was going on with us so…”
“So I kind of acted like a bit of a fool. Yeah I get it, but she didn’t respond to my flirting. She lit up like the sun when you walked into the room, though.”
“What can I say? I’m irresistible. Look Harry, I don’t like her that way, and for what it’s worth I don’t believe she’s into me that way either. She just got out of a relationship, and from what she said it wasn’t a good one.” He looked at me to make sure I was clear on what he was saying, then tilted his head and sighed, “I saw the way she looked at you playing pool the other night and she probably thinks you’re cute. You just have to play it cool, okay?”
“Yeah, thanks mate.” I said thinking about what he said. It didn’t explain why she didn’t respond to my flirting but at least I know Niall and I will be okay if I make a move on her.
“Good…Now…Where’s our waiter? Seriously, I’m starvin’” Niall said.
Once we ordered and he got some food in his system, Niall started to chat up the hostess who was suddenly so much happier to be covering the shift for her coworker. We walked around a bit trying not to stray too far from Modest! So that Niall would be on time for his fitting.

ERIN

After Harry and Niall left for lunch I took a few minutes to prepare Niall’s clothes for when he came back after lunch and started hemming Harry’s clothes so that they were ready for the dress rehearsal tomorrow afternoon. It was kind of nerve wrecking to have to design at least four outfits for each of the guys, have them fitted perfectly, and be sturdy enough to be worn every night for ten months in a matter of just two weeks. I knew Stefanie had faith in me but just wasn’t sure I was that capable. I was going to have to hire an assistant.
As I was putting the finishing touches on the pants I pinned for Harry I blushed at the memory of what happened when I was measuring his inseam and still felt embarrassed. Then the thought of what he said made my heart beat faster. It was completely insulting whether he meant it as a joke or not but it was still kind of intriguing. I shut off the sewing machine and there was a knock on the door and I instantly panicked. Oh God…I hope Harry didn’t come back to hang out while Niall did his fitting.
“Come in!” I shouted a little too loudly as I checked myself in the mirror determined not to look flustered when he walked in with Niall, but much to my surprise he wasn’t with Niall when I turned around.
“Heeeyyy beautiful.” He said as he walked in the room with his arm behind his back, “I brought you something. Do you like cheesecake?” he asked as he opened a takeout box with two slices inside.
I smiled at his thoughtfulness, “I do happen to like cheesecake, thank you.” I said sweetly, “but first we have some work to do so let’s get to it.” I said as I handed him his first outfit.
Niall ended up being the easiest of all the boys to get fitted because he didn’t need as many alterations on his clothes. He was very easy going about what I gave him and everything seemed to fit him just right.
I was able to finish quickly enough that Niall and I shared the two slices of cheesecake and started talking about the tour and some of the funny things that the guys do to each other and the crew.
It turns out they like to prank everyone, and I was warned that I might be the target from time to time. He told me one particular story where he and Harry tried to stuff their hair stylist Lou into an ice bin and I laughed for a minute before saying, “Well now it all make sense.”
Niall looked at me a bit confused and said, “What does?”
“Well, when Harry was in here before he was acting really weird. I don’t know if he was trying to be funny or anything but he kept making these jokes I guess. It kinda seemed like he was trying to make me think he was coming on to me? But I guess that was the joke. He was just trying to make me squirm I guess…you know…to get a reaction out of me.”
Niall looked at me for a moment before carefully starting to speak. “Well…are you sure he was trying to prank you? Do you think maybe he likes you?”
“No. Definitely not. I’m positive he was only trying to get me to freak out or something because as soon as you walked in his whole demeanor changed and he even shuddered when you invited me to come to lunch.”
“Oh…” Niall trailed off.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Nothing it’s just that Harry doesn’t act that way. Honestly Erin I think maybe he was just nervous around you.”
“Yeah, okay. Because I’m so intimidating!” I scoffed at the very idea that I could ever make Harry Styles, King of the womanizers, nervous.
Niall laughed with me but I had the feeling it wasn’t a real laugh so I decided to change the subject.
“Are you excited for rehearsal tomorrow?”
“Nah. Rehearsals aren’t that big of a deal anymore. I get really excited in the ten minutes before a show when we get into position back stage and can hear the crowd.”
“Oh, that’s cool.” I said now feeling silly for having been excited for it myself.
Niall sensing this added, “It’s just that—we mostly fool around so it’s more exciting for the crew because they’re finally getting an idea of how much goes into the shows, but we just kinda sing a bit to make sure everything sounds good and we stand on our marks for certain points to make sure the lighting is right. It’s always great to see the crew’s faces when everything comes together, though.”
“Oh, okay. I get what you’re saying.” I stood up to throw out my plate and fork when I had finished my cake, “Thank you for the cheesecake, Niall. It was very good, but unfortunately I have to get back to work.”
He stood up and gave me a hug. When he leaned in he spoke quietly in my ear, “Listen, for what it’s worth I don’t think Harry dislikes you. I say you should give him a chance and get to know him better.”
When I pulled away from the hug Niall had a sincere expression as he looked me in the eyes. “Yeah, okay. I’ll try.” I said as he turned to walk out of the room. I really thought he’d let me change the subject for good…guess not.

STEFANIE

I had been running around all morning, checking in with each of the departments under me, making sure everything was perfect for when the dress rehearsal began. My stage crew was amazing and I had to admit, they were so diligent at their jobs that is almost made my job easy…almost.
The last person I had to check in with was Erin, and quite honestly I was super excited to find out what Erin had come up with so far.
“How’s it going?” I asked walking into the backstage dressing area where Erin was busy putting last minute touches on some of the guys’ stage wardrobe.
“Great!” Erin exclaimed with a big smile, “The guys are all dressed and ready to go for their first set and waiting patiently to get started.”
“You’re the best!” I said grabbing Erin and giving her a quick hug, “I gotta tell ya, I’m so ready for rehearsal to be over! Once this rehearsal is done we can sort of relax because all that’s left is working out the kinks in timing and stuff like that.”
“Well then why don’t we go out and get a celebratory drink or two tonight? We’ve both been so overworked, I really think we need to let loose a bit.”
“I don’t know…We should be responsible about going back to the flat because we still have work to do tomorrow…” I tried to convince myself that that’s what I really wanted to do but I was no match for Erin’s puppy dog face and said, “Okay. I guess it will be fun, besides I really could use a drink after everything that has happened this week!”
“Yay!” Erin shouted as she started jumping up and down excitedly.
“Okay, I have to go out and start rehearsals now though so if you have time try to find a place near our flat. I don’t wanna be too far from home in case we end up being too tired to wait for a cab.”
“You got it boss lady.” Erin said saluting like a soldier, but the sight was hilarious because she had one hand on her hip instead of at her side and she had scarves and swatches hanging from her wrist. We both laughed as I turned to walk away.
I didn’t get very far however, as I literally ran into Louis who was coming back stage to see if Erin could fix the button that ripped off his jacket.
“Oh, sorry!” Louis said as he took a step back and realized it was me.
“No, I’m sorry I was in a rush.” I offered and with that I attempted to walk away before he could see the disappointment in my eyes.
“Hey, wait up,” Louis said and I cringed at the sound of his voice. Even after the silliness at the press conference, it wasn’t easy being around him knowing that he returned my feelings, knowing that nothing could happen between us because he was with Eleanor.
“I really can’t Louis,” I paused meeting his eyes for only a moment, “We need to get started…Sorry.”
As I turned away I could swear I saw his smile turn to a frown. It didn’t matter. I was here to do a job and not break up another relationship. I shook it off and made my way to the stands to take my seat.
On my word they started the run through. The opening act had some issues but they were quickly fixed and the opening sequence couldn’t have come out more perfect! I was very happy with the cinematographer’s work with the party and morning after scenes. Now it was time to make sure the boys were ready for their cue. The screens lifted and they started to sing the first few songs on their set list. Everything seemed to be going alright except for a few hiccups in timing during wardrobe changes and a few times where the lighting was off. Luckily these weren’t major problems and would be fixed easily. The boys would just have to learn how to change a little faster and I happened to be pretty handy with a lighting board so I could play around with it a bit before we left for the night.
After getting through half of the set list we decided to break for twenty minutes so that everyone could grab a snack and catch their breath. I started double checking my list of things that need to be corrected so that I could make sure to note it in the binders I made for everyone so they know what they need to work on and didn’t have the same issues at the first concert. I was about to go see what Erin was up to when I was approached by Harry.
“Hi Stefanie, I just wanted to let you know that I’m really impressed with everything that you’ve pulled off for this tour in such short notice.”
“Thank you!” I said feeling like he really did appreciate all my efforts, “That really means a lot.”
“Of course, I understand there is a lot of work going into this. Listen, I’m kind of embarrassed about the other day, when I asked about Erin. I guess I just wanted to know if you said anything to her. I like her but I kinda got the feeling today that she might not be into it.”
I was surprised that Erin would put a wall up between her and Harry and thought that maybe I should help Harry tear it down. “You know what, Erin is just a little shy and sometimes just needs to get to know a person better before feeling comfortable around them. Actually, Erin and I are going to get a drink when we finish things up here. Why don’t you come out and meet us for a drink?”
Harry looked a little stunned, “Are you sure? I don’t want to interrupt anything.”
I reassured Harry by saying, “No really, you won’t be interrupting anything! It’ll be fun, I’ll text you when I know where we are going, how’s that sound?” I honestly feel that Harry would be the perfect match for Erin and I’m willing to be pushy and sneaky if that’s what it took for them to get together.
“Yeah, alright that sounds fun! Give me a call later then.” And as harry walked away I could see a huge smile stretch across Harry’s face.
I made my way back stage to meet up with Erin and when I got there I was surprised when Erin said she found the perfect bar for us to go to.
“It’s called Archangel and it’s in Kensington so it’s close to our flat. We could probably walk home after. I googled it and this site says it’s perfect for chatting drinking and dancing so I figured we could try it out, what do you think?” Erin seemed really excited about this place so I said she was in.
“Hey Erin, by the way I invited someone to come along with us, I hope you don’t mind?” I would’ve kept it a surprise but then thought better of it. The only surprises Erin likes are the kind that involve presents. Not when someone shows up unexpectedly.
“That’s okay, who did you invite?” Erin asked.
“I invited Harry to come out and join us.” I paused hoping Erin wouldn’t change her mind about going
“Oh,” Erin said, “I thought you meant some of the girls from the crew. When did you invite him?” Erin asked scared to hear the answer.
“Just now, he looked like he needed a night out and I’d like for us to all get to know each other better.”
“Okay fine, but I see your game! I’m not going to change my mind about him.”
“We’ll see.” I said with confidence. Sometimes it seemed I knew Erin better than she knew herself. “Okay Hun, I’ll catch up with you afterwards. I need to stay after everyone leaves to play around with the lighting, do you wanna stay and hang with me or head home to start getting ready?”
“I’ll stay.” Erin said brightly.
“Okay great! See you in a bit.” I said walking back to the front stage area to get things started up again.

ERIN

I was seriously impressed when I saw how flawlessly Stefanie had everything running throughout dress rehearsal and I had to admit I was also feeling a little awed watching the guys perform for the first time. Even one particular band member that I was trying not to notice. As much as I had been avoiding Harry, trying to convince myself that I was most certainly not interested in him like Stefanie had thought, there were some things I just couldn’t get away from, like his wardrobe. I stood there for a moment, getting things ready for the next costume change, when suddenly Stefanie’s voice came over my earpiece, snapping me out of my reverie…
“Erin, we need you stage left when everyone exits after this song, someone’s shirt got ripped,” Stefanie instructed into my ear.
“I’ll be right there,” I sighed, and grabbed my emergency sewing kit and hurried over, being careful not to trip over anything in the pandemonium that was backstage. Even though this was only a dress rehearsal, everyone was behaving like it was a real show. As I stepped closer to the stage I could hear the last chorus of “Kiss You” get louder and louder.
“Hey, you here to fix me up?” said a voice I instantly recognized. I turned to find Harry, all flushed and sweaty from singing and running around the stage. Which I don’t find sexy….I tried to remind myself.
“Um….Erin?” Harry laughed, tapping a finger on my shoulder. I snapped out of it, hoping that I hadn’t been staring at him awkwardly and quickly recovered.
“Where’s the problem? We don’t have much time before the next song starts.”
“It’s here on my shoulder,” Harry replied, pointing to his shirt. I nodded and started threading a needle with black thread. As if from a long distance I could sense and hear the rest of the crew moving all around us, but it seemed somehow as if Harry and I were the only two people there. There was an awkward silence for a minute and I tried my hardest to concentrate on repairing the rip; however, I was having trouble not fixating on Harry’s heaving chest, or the warmth of his skin underneath his shirt, or the sweat glistening on his neck…
What the hell is the matter with you? I mentally scolded myself.
“So, how’d this happen?” “I haven’t seen you around.” –Harry and I began to say at the same time. We both started to laugh; which broke the tension a bit.
I could feel the laugh rumble in his chest underneath my fingertips and it gave me the sensation of butterflies in my stomach.
“I’ve…been busy,” I replied lamely, obviously not wanting to admit that I had been avoiding Harry on purpose.
“Oh…well, I missed seeing you,” Harry said softly. I snapped my head up to look at him, sure that he must be joking with me, and found him gazing down at me… God, those eyes… Our heads were so close together. All I wanted was to lean in to brush my lips against his… Catching myself once again, I shook my head, “All done!” I replied a little too loudly and turned away from Harry as quickly as I could possibly manage hoping that he hadn’t noticed the blush that had crept onto my cheeks. How was I supposed to be around him later knowing he had this effect on me when he wasn’t even trying? I didn’t know if I could handle his joke much longer.
As the run through was wrapping up I met Stefanie on the stage to see how I could help move things along so we could go out.
“Okay you take one mic, and I’ll take the other.” She started saying, her master plan to get this lighting just right, “I’m going to go back stage and mess around with the lighting board and you tell me if the different colored lights are in sync with the beat , got it?”
“Yes ma’am!” I said with a giggle.
“You aren’t funny.” Stefanie replied rolling her eyes at my lame joke. Once she got back stage she started the music and working the lights. It only took a few minutes to figure out the problem with Change My Mind and we quickly moved on to Teenage Dirtbag which was a little harder to figure out but we managed to settle the issue. As we finished I looked out to the audience and took in how massive the venue was and I suddenly felt a little intimidated.
“Do you think the guys still get nervous?”
“What? Stefanie asked from backstage.
“I mean, I’m intimidated and there’s not even an audience here. It’s gotta be a little freaky for them to stand up here and have all those people screaming at them.” I pondered what would go through their minds and then said, “Then again…They’re probably so used to it, it doesn’t even phase them. I bet it’d be pretty cool to perform on a stage like this though.”
“Let’s find out.” Stefanie said from backstage.
“What?” I asked suddenly very confused and that’s when I heard the music getting much louder. She started What Makes You Beautiful and put the spotlights on so that they were swirling around the stage. I nervously chuckled when Stefanie came out from backstage and started singing. “You’re insecure, don’t know what for, you’re turning heads when you walk through the do-o-oor,” She stood and watched waiting for me to take over but I sat there laughing and shaking my head no.
“Don’t need makeup, to cover up, being the way that you are is enou-o-ough.” I rolled my eyes and knew she wouldn’t give up until I joined her, hell she’d probably keep me hostage here all night until I joined in at least one of the songs,
“Fiine…Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you-oo.”
Stefanie pulled me from where I had been sitting and started pulling me in all different directions while she danced around me until I joined her and we both sang the chorus.
“Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, but when you smile at the ground it ain’t hard to tell you don’t know oh oh, you don’t know you’re beautiful. If only you saw what I can see, you’d understand why I want you so desperately, right now I’m looking at you and I can’t believe you don’t know oh oh, you don’t know you’re beautiful, oh oh, you don’t know you’re beautiful, oh oh, that’s what makes you beautiful.”
We continued to dance and sing like fools for the rest of the song and when it was over we fell to the ground from laughing so hard. It was the most either Stefanie or I had been able to let lose in the last few weeks, and it was nice to have just a few moments of silliness. We were laughing so hard we hadn’t even noticed the music shut off entirely until we heard the slow exaggerated clapping coming from the fourth row. Stefanie and I both held our hands up to block out the spotlight so we could see who was there, and were stunned to see all five members of the band. Not only had they heard our horrible singing, but they witnessed our dancing like fools to their song. I’m not sure what I’m more embarrassed by…Them seeing what we just did or the fact that now they know we knew that song in its entirety.

@Korraline

Without giving too much away as far as story line goes, the sequel picks up less than a month after the last one leaves off. We only have two more chapters left for this one and are currently editing the first few chapters of the next installment. I hope this answers your question :)
