Chapter four
I cannot tell you of the desire,
The need to lay my lips upon your brain,
Hold your smile in the palm of my hand,
Hush your modesty with a long kiss,
Rise with music notes lovely and grand,

My mouth won't open to ask you this:

Louis Perspective
I locked my eyes with her own. Her light blue eyes made her orbs seem grey with a hint of a silver tint to them. They were mesmerising as they trapped my very own.
"We finally get to meet, Princess." I heard a faint gasp fall from her lips as recognition hit her. Her eyes frantically quivered looking from my eyes to my lips noticing she licked her lips to moist them. Once again her eyes locked back into mine as I realized fear was shooting out of them.
Why was she scared?
I shook my head realizing the last dream we shared, of my wolf taking over and marking her without her consent. I growled at my stupidity, how was she going to trust me now?
Though she was human and who probably thought those were just made up dreams, I could tell that she was realizing everything through just a flash.
She jumped from my growl while she took a step back slowly trying to hide the fact she was wanting to get away from me.
My wolf didn't appreciate that my mate was trying to leave me and instantly took over shooting out my arm and grabbing her waist. I pulled her small frame against my towering height, feeling her silk dress press against my hot skin. She whimpered from my hold making my wolf go crazy hearing her soft whimpers.
I pressed my eyes close, trying to control my wolf before he took over and had his way with our mate.
"Boss..." I could hear Eli softly say "you need to let her breath." My green eyes took control from my wolf's as I took a deep breath looking down at my mate who was tightly in my grasp, smashed against my chest.
"Everyone out." I ordered not looking away from my mate as she was softly crying in my chest. Everyone obeyed, walking out quickly. Eli gave me a look of acknowledgment, giving him a knowingly nod from my head as he quietly shut the door pulling Mariah along.
Once I heard the click of the door, I gave away from my tight hold of my mate as she gasped for air. She looked up at my face frightened, as she stood frozen in place. My hand swiped a lone tear from her cheek, making a frown cross my face knowing I was the one who caused her tears.
"Shit." I cursed as I realized I fucked up. She was supposed to be thrilled to be seeing me, not the exact opposite. I took a step back before turning around and pushing off a vase from a near by table, letting out my anger. I cursed at my wolf letting him know what he had made our mate feel.
The vase crashed into the floor, breaking into pieces. Grabbing a glass cup I threw it against the wall, far from my mate. It made a high pitch shattering noise before scattering the floor with crystals.
Another whimper was heard from my mate, turning around I noticed she was pressed against the wall as far away she could be from me. My wolf frantically tried to come out noticing how she was not wanting to be close to us. I took control, serves him right that she was frightened of us.
Sitting down on the chair, I was once sitting on before she showed up, I watched her with her tear stained cheeks as her eyes focused on me.
"I apologize about everything." I decided to say after a few minutes passed by. I looked down at the white rug that was covering the dark stained wood. "I didn't plan on meeting like this, I had something more better planned out. Eli, just didn't realize that I had plans for the both of us to meet, somewhere a bit more inviting." I took a look up, meeting her eyes far from mine.
"I'm actually pissed off that he decided a fucking bar was the place to take you." I spoke, mind linking my anger to Eli. He knew he was in for a yelling when we got back to the pack.
"He didn't make me come here." I heard my mate finally softly speak "I decided that on my own." she spoke looking at me before looking down at the floor.
I closed my eyes knowing she was half speaking the truth. If it wasn't for Eli meeting Mariah last night, he wouldn't of smelled our future luna's scent on her. He had told me about it last night as my wolf went crazy, knowing she was closer than I thought. Never imagining he would bring her the very next day without my consent.
In truth he had asked Mariah to bring a friend, that friend meaning Spring. Without Mariah knowing half of the reason why. But his planned worked out great, if only I knew about it. I clenched my fists trying to control my anger knowingly my wolf was going to kick my betas ass.
"Why would you go somewhere as dangerous as here?" I asked closing my eyes, pressing a finger between my brows. Only hearing silence my wolf grew impatient, "fucking answer me." my wolf growled.
"Be-because I wa-wanted to." she once again lied.
"You're lying princess. And it's not making my wolf happy." I said getting up walking towards her, my wolf fighting with me.
She looked up to me as her back was pressed against the wall. I put each of my arms on each side of the wall so that she was trapped.
"Just like old times." I whispered into her left ear making her shiver. I could tell her body was enjoying my closeness as her mind fought with control. "Now tell me the truth, Spring." I used her name while her eyes shot up to mine.
She roamed her eyes on my face as if she was trying to come up with a lie. "Tell me now." I asked darkly, bending my head down to her neck, my wolf going crazy as I gave a sniff of approval. She started panicking from my closeness to her neck, remembering the reason why, I moved my head away.
"My friend wanted me to come and I really didn't want to come but she talked me into it. I have never gone here before.. p-please don't hurt her." she begged the last part, breaking my heart at her concern for her friend. Little did she know, she told me what I wanted to hear.
I gave a small smile as she started crying "Shhh, don't cry, princess." I wiped her tears as they flowed out. "I'm not going to hurt your friend, I just wanted to hear that you don't go to bars. Even in your dreams you never seemed much of a partying type and that makes my wolf so glad. It means you won't go to bars and risk yourself in harms way. There's a lot of dangerous people who come here." I softly spoke to her making her stop crying as she gave a soft sniffle.
"So you won't hurt her?" she asked making sure I was not going to change my mind.
Sure, I was pissed at Eli and at her friend for even putting my mate in danger but I wasn't going to hurt her friend, "I promise. I'm only going to kick Eli's ass." I added the last part making her giggle. My wolf perked up at her giggle, feeling like we achieved something.
"My wolf likes it when you giggle." I softly whispered, close to her beautiful face. Her big eyes looked up to mine as her once care free face was gone. She was still frightened of me and that only meant I needed to give her time. Hell, she probably had hundreds of questions running through her head.
And now I was just breaking the news about my kind in which she had no clue actually existed.
I let my arms fall to my side taking a step back, "I'll give you time princess. I'll let you have a week to yourself before we meet again." my hand reach to her hand grabbing it and pulling it to my lips. I gave a small kiss looking into her eyes showing me a mix of emotions.
"Can I leave?" she asked softly looking down, her hair making a canvas around her face. My hand automatically pulled her hair gently away from her face "I will drive you. I will be the one seen for your safety."
Her eyes shot up to mine, noticing she was either afrade for her friend or of me driving her home" Mariah will be with Eli, in fact he took her home when they stepped out of this room earlier." a look of relief flushed over her face. I noticed she was very protective over her friend, making my wolf happy.
She will be a great Luna one day.
Turning to grab my keys off the table, I took a hold of Springs hand not letting go as we walked out of the room careful of any glass. I lead her behind me with my hand protectivly around hers noticing a few seductive looks from women eyeing me up as pathetic men stood, whistling at Spring. My wolf was not liking this one bit, walking faster out the doors, I cursed for not having built a back door.
We walked out to the fresh air, eyeing my truck parked in the VIP space. "Do you work here?" Spring asked as I opened the passenger door for her, helping her up. "No..it was my great grandfather's business kept through my father and now myself." I watched as she slightly nodded.
I closed the door walking around the drivers side, opening up the door I was about to get in before a small rock hit my truck. Growling, I faced the intruder but noticed it was three drunken men. I could hear Spring gasp as I felt my claws make their way out of my hands. I closed the door not wanting her to see this side of me, noticing the drunken state of the men I knew they wouldn't remember this tomorrow "leave now." I demanded darkly.
Their eyes grew big as one kept drunkenly sputtering random words out as they turned to leave, stumbling. My claws gave away as my wolf was still furious for having men so close to our mate. I opened the door, noticing the dent on my truck as I got in.
My eyes instantly landed on Spring's big eyes, she was scared.
"I didn't hurt them, I just gave them a good scare." I tried to reach for her hand but she moved it under her leg. "Princess, I hate when you're scared. You weren't meant to see that, hell you weren't even suppose to be here tonight." I spoke as I started driving away from Dark Moon.
I eyed Spring who was currently looking out the window at the pitch black night that surrounded us. She was beautiful.
"Is this another dream?" I almost missed her question catching me off guard. I noticed she was still not looking my way.
"No...it's finally reality." I softly spoke as her head turned with her blue grey eyes looking into mine.
"I'm going to faint." she quickly said as her body gave way into the seat.

"I'll be with you, we'll just give it time." I promised in a whispered.
